You know, i just noticed something on the first page. IS was a doctor with wolfsbane. Which means werewolves can't kill him if i understand the roles correctly. Is it possible we have two killing groups on alternating nights?

I don't know what the wolfsbane actually does, could someone with knowledge of this type of game tell me?

Well, I guess that dranko20 is the seer. I wonder how many more defensive roles there can be, I mean we lost a cop, a doc, and the martyr, I hope we have one more doctor.

well it must be how mr. Flay is doing the protection role-- using the standard mafia doc role title but the Doc uses wolfbane to keep werewolfs away. At any rate, that loss was not a good one.

Come on. At least you guys didn't vote for Esme, otherwised I'd be on you like a fat boy (me) on cake. I guess that gives me a nice 9-vote safety zone.

If you really think I'm "supecious," get your head checked. I got sick and tired of the town spewing BS back and forth about Esme. She's a townie. It's settled. We were right.

And I wanna hear the answer to roland's question.

Phoebus - I'm not really sure, in the PDF Mr. Flay gave us it was mafia and werewolves. granted that would be a much bigger game but im just speculating.

milkman - wolfsbane is the ability to not die by werewolves.

So if the doc had wolfsbane and he still died, we also have a mis-firing vig on our hands??? Anyone want to own up to that? If it comes out later that you targeted the doc after we ask now, it is not going to be pretty.

Or, we have 2 mafias (highly unlikely I think with a game under 30).

OMG

GUYS, wolfsbane IS how he doctored. He used wolfsbane to ward the wolves away, it had NOTHING to do with ANYTHING else. For the love of god, stop worrying about it.

Ok. After re-reading Mr.Flay's posts, I don't think there is enough evidence to point to a second mafia. I believe the Wolfsbane note was meant to mean he used wolfsbane on other people. What confused me is that wolfsbane isnt a herb if i remember correctly. Its a certain inate ability some people have. I'm thinking i was mistaken. I apoligize to the town for the wild goose chase.

Wolfsbane as explained on the Princeton site (where the PDF came from, which is also consilidated) IIRC was that someone has the wolfsbane potion and they can sprinkle some on someone's doorstep to ward off wolf attacks.

A doc w/ wolfsbane would suggest this is what happened.
At times, a wolfsbane can be a role immune to wolves like the bulletproof vest.

And I'm sorry but 2 mafia (evil/scum) factions can easily fit into a game of 22/23.
Unless you meant something like 2 mafia groups and one wolf group, which IS unlikely, one mafia and one wolf isn't unlikely. The title of the game, however, would suggest otherwise to me.

I agree with mikehart. From previous werewolf games I've played, wolfsbane has always been someone with inate protection from werewolves.

You know, there could be two werewolf groups or one really big one. Or they could be a werewolf/cult where they can kill AND turn. (If so, pick me! ;) just kidding.)

My theory on wolfsbane:
Maybe if he had protected a werewolf, it would have died?

My theory on multiple groups:

I really doubt that there are two groups because we have yet to have a multiple murder night.

Vote: Milkman

Personally, I'd like to go after someone adamant on the esme bandwagon. Coolbot was being Coolbot, and he's dead anyway.

It wasn't really her posts, it was more the timing of her "let's get the lurkers" movement, Dranko20 was about to be lynched when she did it. Right after that Dranko20 comes out with a seer claim, and we all back off of him. I attacked esme rather than dranko, because he could have been the seer, and if she were a wolf then he probably was too.

And, Bamboomancer we all see you.

i was rather suspiscious of esme as well and i just think the way she wasnt truly explaining her votes and accusations had me suspiscious of her.
