I don't find her lack of results implausible. Given how easily Power Roles can lose their abilities in this game, I can understand why copSW would hold back on N1 in the hopes of getting investigations on N2 etc. She could also have been trying to trick the scum into losing any roleblock they might have.

SW knows that all the rolePMs are visible to everyone. Everyone does. She can claim any role in the game with perfect accuracy of flavour, because they're all visible. What were you hoping for, that scumSW would make a mistake in re-fakeclaiming? Any fakeclaiming scum would just go straight to the relevant rolePM on page 1 anyway. It would tell us nothing. I didn't ruin anything, because there's nothing to ruin.

Yes, but I'm sure you'd agree that scum are more likely to either
1) be on a different wagon in the hopes of saving their godfather, or
2) leap on at the last minute when his lynch is inevitable, to get some bussing in.

Also, if memory serves you were the person who voted for SW immediately after her claim and put her at L-1, when she was (at that point) the unCCed cop. Which I believe prompted Reck's threat of "replacing the fuck out of this game".
And you also said that BC's cop claim was far more credible than SW's, but never explained why. To me, neither seemed much more credible than the other.

Apologies for my hasty reply, but since she was so abashed with emoticons I was hoping she would slip up if she was scum-Snow White.

Either way, we don't know the validity of her role unless she says 'I am _______' besides just saying I'm a cop. I'm resting my hopes on a gambit that she is not a cop, but possibly one of the backup roles described.

If that is the case, then i won't push it any further. I was disappointed that an investigation attempt wasn't even tried, so naturally, I was pissed.

However, I do have a question... I don't think the rules really say that you can choose not to use your ability or what would happen if you choose not to use it (SW is saying she can now use it on some future night, right?). Did Max specify this anywhere? The role PM's don't say anything about choosing not to use your ability. Did I miss it?

you can always choose to not use your ability, that's pretty much a default. Mafia don't have to NK every night, and vig and choose not to kill, so cop should also be allowed to choose not to investigate.

I think all night actions are optional, since every rolePM says either "can" or "may", which implies choice to me anyway.
Anyway, surely you could just not submit a choice before the night deadline, which would be as good as choosing to do nothing.

At this point, a dramonic lynch seems like a decent choice to me.

maybe I have the wrong person in mind, but for some reason I felt this isnt the first time you have said that that BW is an acceptable lynch choice for you. It's as if you are more concerned about lynching than you are about scumhunting. Like I said I'll read later to see if this truly is you or if its somebody else I have in mind and accidentally carried over as you.
