As for why I don't think she's really an active lurker, while she may not be the most pro-active of players she's engaged with other players (eg. me) and had a bit of back-and-forth. Can you really say that she's done no scumhunting so far?

That would be easy enough to prove. Note that I am *gasp* actually trying to scumhunt and question people, whereas your first two posts in ISO aren't very proactive and your third is...what? asking someone else to do something you haven't? Post 4 implies you were voting Haylen for a non random reason, but I really don't see it? Next few posts are about the holiday weekend and trying to defend your weak stance on RBT. Post 10 is just terrible. Most of your posts are fluff or just plain hypocrisy. As I said, that's not contribution. As it happens, after that post you get a little more proactive, and it's a fair balance between attack and defense.

There's a reason I would vote CSL instead of you right now.

At the moment, apart from Haylen, CSL, ortolan, RBT, Zazier, and Zoraster all qualify as lurkers by dint of postcount alone.

However, I am more impressed by Zoraster than the others since he has some questions in his last post. I guess ortolan has a question in his last post, also, but it doesn't seem to have led to anything.

It is on Haylen. It was originally a random vote, but she is one of those who I see as not doing a whole lot for the game at the moment. Her last post shows signs of her contribution picking up, but not enough yet.

I find it ironic that you first attacked me for active lurking, when what I have been doing myself is trying to find active lurkers. Take, for example, Riceballtail; in his second post, he unvoted and appeared perfectly happy to let matters rest there. (Indeed, he basically has.) That's not content either, and I went after him for it.

I'm not sure where you got the idea of postcounts from. I have been quite clear about what I was doing:

It's not the postcount that I was looking at, really - more the fact that you unvoted and appeared content to leave matters there for the moment, with no further attempt at scumhunting.

I have to agree with Jullien on this, you aren't really actively scum hunting. I dislike admissions to "looking at other places" when it's better spent questioning. It's too passive in my tastes.

There's a world of difference between my first two posts and RBT's first two posts. After my first two posts, I had a vote on somebody, and was questioning the person that my vote was on. After RBT's first two posts, he'd sort of vaguely made the same statement as lay behind my question, but had no vote on anybody, and said he had his eye on you, for some reason (and that seems to have been a joke). I think that my first two posts had more impact on the game than his, and therefore I think I was perfectly justified in taking the stance I did.

No, it wasn't a joke, it was a reference to our last game together. Further, having a vote out doesn't necessarily mean anything. Especially when it's, yanno, a random vote. Both of you produced about the same content in the same amount of posts. I'd actually argue RBT gave us more to work with.

Well, obviously you missed the fact that I was totally on tajo for rolefishing, as well as others who were pushing the issue. There was far more scumhunting in those posts than you had exhibited until recently.

Well, I think trolling it up consistently is anti-town. I don't know if that makes him scum, but better to off him today than to leave him alive until later. I suppose a vigil could take him out, but I'd hate to assume that.

It's a policy lynch of sorts, but it's a good one.

Then again, I keep forgetting this is a mindscrew, so it's plausible his role requires some sort of obtuseness. But I just can't see that being a fun role to include.
