What's an accidental hammer?

Sometimes people post -- and even vote -- without reading an entire thread. Other times, people hammer intentionally and pretend that it was an accident. Still other times, the condemned (especially if that person is scum) will self-hammer. I want the replacements to post content, and I want Cyber's claim before anything happens. This has nothing to do with "looking 'townie.'" It's an extremely procedure which used to be

standard procedure

in mafia games. Mafia 101, young'un.

This is not a valid argument, sorry. There's a reason we call certain actions "scummy". Would you like for me to spell it out for you?

I really don't care what you think of my scumhunting. I have used that as a tell before to find townies, and I don't recall ever inaccurately applying it to any situation. Also, even if I didn't use that tell, all the points against her could be applied to other players.

Cyberbob, if you find the town isn't playing well, why don't you actually help? If you don't want to win/play, then ask for a replacement.

Who said I'm not playing to win? I certainly think that my wagon has a number of scum on it and my cardflip will aid in their eventual deaths. It's pretty much the only valid tool I have left that anyone will actually pay attention to.

How do you know nobody will pay attention to anything else you say? If you actually do flip town, then we know anything you said won't be biased because of your allignment.

I'm guessing here that the assumption is that Dev is asking for information that's not present in the Vanilla Townie PM, thus does not have such a PM, thus is scum.

Nice as it would be to find scum this easily, it may mean he just isn't vanilla. And since the Vanilla Townie PM is posted on the first page, it's less a question of whether he has access to it, and more of a question of 'is he aware of what it says'. And neither a yes or no there makes him scum.
