If, say, Jase were killed and Jase flipped town, we would know his arguments were not scum-driven and could therefore evaluate them knowing that there was no ulterior motive. My posts are best read in the calm, reassuring voice of Morgan Freeman. I don't sound anything like him, but they sound best that way.
Temporarily retiring following the end of my current obligations.-

Sorry about my absence. Other things showed up and came in between. Had a really nice after work yesterday.
I havn't found the time to make the thorough analysis i I had in mind but I'll briefly share my current gut feelings and reads. When time allows I'll elaborate and add more referrences. Problem at the moment is that I've got an uneasy feeling about more than two players.
Reading up on past events the worst impression to me was when Netopalis didn't keep track of Sposh being dead. Not reading the mod posts means not keeping up on actual facts. What makes it difficult getting to a conclusion is that Nacho and VRK have been neglecting mod posts as well.
If I would call any player this game a nemesis of mine it would be Nacho. More than once we've been at each other but my feeling is that in the end we've been able to talk things though. The opposite of that would be how Haylen and VRK call scum on each other even for things that are off-topic. Despite both being experienced players they never seem to agree upon hardly anything. Their problems getting along suggests one of them being scum. I don't get a town feeling about VRK but I find that he makes a better argument than Haylen. E.g. trying to make a case of my signature left a bad impression.
The two who at the end of D1 didn't vote both voted each other earlier during the day. (TheBeanBurrito, StarOfTheShow) Note to self: Examine context.
My gut feeling about Jase was going downhill but after his lack of participance was mentioned he have shaped up.
At the moment I've got the worst gut feeling about Haylen and Netopalis. I'm uneasy with Jase and Vel-Rahn Koon. Would prefer if I dared to consider fewer players with suspicion. If I'm not back in five just wait longer.-

Have you thought that this might be what happens with scum? They lurk as much as they can, then when someone points out that they arent posting, they post really quickly then they post as much as they can without looking like they're trying too hard til they're lynched.Bwian wrote: My gut feeling about Jase was going downhill but after his lack of participance was mentioned he have shaped up.
Yep, and the thing that worries me most is the fence sitting that he's doing with the no lynch today. Oh huzzah! Fence-sitting, another thing to ass about reasons he's scummy.Bwian wrote: Despite both being experienced players they never seem to agree upon hardly anything.
Um...I was joking >.> I've never seen a player try to make a case based on another player...Bwian wrote: I don't get a town feeling about VRK but I find that he makes a better argument than Haylen. E.g. trying to make a case of my signature left a bad impression.
Now go make a case about me.Bwian wrote: At the moment I've got the worst gut feeling about Haylen and Netopalis.Seriously. Read your role PM before playing.
I am sorry if you have to prod me, I have absolutely no concept of time.

I know what you mean. I don't have anything to do today (However,Mod: I may or may not be V/LA for the next four days), and I might be gone soon... So of course, today's the day everyone chooses to be inactive..."Playing with Nacho is like playing with a religious conservative." ~UncertainKitten

Jase: Good point. I was using that as an explanation as to why no-lynch is a good option, if I recall the post you are speaking of.
Sorry, everyone, finals are coming up and I've been insanely busy. I'll try to hop on later tonight and post some good cases. My posts are best read in the calm, reassuring voice of Morgan Freeman. I don't sound anything like him, but they sound best that way.

Ok...reading back through this, I'm having trouble seeing why we shouldn't no lynch. I've had nobody explain to me why this is a bad idea, and I've posited several reasons that I think are valid. I was scum recently in a game that finished - we won partially because the town didn't use their no lynch and any player would have, if killed, provided the town with vital information regarding connections. If nothing else, it'll give us something new to talk about. My posts are best read in the calm, reassuring voice of Morgan Freeman. I don't sound anything like him, but they sound best that way.

Neto, I think the situation's been touched on before. And just because we're no-lynching isn't an excuse for such shitty activity... D:Haylen wrote:Ok. We aren't lynching ANYONE today. It's poor play. If we lynch today, we could lose. We wont have a chance to no lynch tomorrow cause we'll have already lost.
6 players.
4 town. 2 scum.
Mislynch.
We go into night with 3 town. 2 scum.
Scum kill.
2 town. 2 scum.
The mafia win conditions of newbie games and every other game is that scum win when they are equal to the number of town. 2 town + 2 scum = Town Lose.
Hear what i'm saying? WE AREN'T LYNCHING TODAY.-

Guys I just don't have anything new to add. Until we get a scum lynch my focus is going to stay on Haylen because of her bad arguments against me and her previous scummy actions.
Just one thing tho: tunnel vision is NOT scummy. Anti town, yes. Scummy, no. Scummy implies that scum do it more than town, and that is just not true when it comes to tunnel vision.
Nacho's 558 in response to my question about why a No Lynch works in our favor is what I was looking for. I'm comfortable No Lynching and then using the Night kill info to help narrow down the suspects further. I also think that people are starting to take more of a stand than they had when 558-ish was written, so we now have things to actually analyze tomorrow. Basically, since people have started talking between now and page 23 it seems to have separated out some of the people in terms of pro-town/anti-town, which is the entire point of No Lynching today.
Haylen is still my number 1 suspect. Jase and Neto are next.
Vote: No Lynch
That's "L-1" for the No Lynch. Don't vote unless you're ready to end the game day. Even then we should get a consensus that all discussion is done before someone "hammers".The Newbie Queue ALWAYS needs ICs and Mods!

I dont want the game to end til VRK gives satisfactory answers to what scummy actions I have done. Preferably in bulletpoint with evidence.Seriously. Read your role PM before playing.
