Actually, after some thought over the last few days, I have. SpyreX, despite his obsession with me, is one of the five or so people from this town that I would want to take into lynch or lose.

Democratizing the shot is different from a lynch in which way? Yes, I realize it would be two effective lynches between each night phases, but presumably we have some other PR's that benefit from the night phase as well.

Clearly, we can't keep RayFrost around for very long, but I'm intrigued by the prospect of keeping him around another day.

If you're claiming the vig kills we've seen (sans that one) as an SK - charter claims vig and gets killed... but it wouldn't be by the mafia.

AND if that day kill wasn't town then what in the HELL is going on at night - you've claimed your kills were during the day which means we had THREE night 1 that weren't you?

Anyway, lemme lay out why you should keep me alive for a while:

1. I'm another flip for the town to make use of

2. scum may try killing me, since I'm a real danger to them (bluff on the kill immunity? )

3. You can lynch me at virtually any point in the game before the possible lylo.

4. because of that, you can stretch out how long I help town to however long you feel comfortable

5. because of that, lynching me now serves no benefit to town except to decrease the amount of flips desired by town by 1 as well as waste a current lynch on me when it could be used elsewhere

I believe his claim, and I say we leave him alive. He's safe for one more night for sure. There's no way scums would get daykills on top of a player that can scream "shoot me" as safely as he seems to be able to.

At the worst, I think we have to lynch him a little bit early in case he has one partner (like somesort of pair of well equipped scums, praps)

Though I have to say, I don't really like that the game is developing a kingmaker element, that's not the reason i play mafia..

First off looking at it like this GOOD LORD.

So, assuming Ray's explanation of events is honest...yea, I'm kinda scared / becoming convinced that we don't have a day vig and its 2 scum groups and 2 SK's (flavor suggests some madness of this sort as well, but)

The day/night cycle and some of the targets would have this make sense. Although looking at the above the crypto kill STILL stands out as a :wtf:.

We know that's what you claim, Rayfrost, but supposing we suspect you're still playing to win, you could be hiding a partner that makes LyLo happen a day sooner than what we calculate, Ray.

Charter ended up being the back up roleblocker. It's possible that we had a back up Vig that took over when Charter flipped to scum, and promptly shot him when he claimed a role that the back up Vig knew Charter didn't have.

That person wouldn't have had a kill until Charter flipped. Is there another unexplained kill?

So, we have two unexplained kills, or did I miss something? I don't think it could have been a new Vig back on Night 1, since Charter was still the vig at that point, as proven by his Vi kill on Day 2. That leans less towards a back up vig and more towards a 'every other day/night vig'.

That's a lot of killing power, which actually may indicate a less than normal number of scum. At any rate, we need to err on the side of caution for calculating number of days remaining.
