The tension has not subsided in the Sub Pen. The big argument currently: Is Stuart absolutely stupid for suspecting Emile, or does he have a reason behind it? There is STILL discussion on which is the case. The aquanauts are split between which is the case, and knowing the right answer may be the differance between taking out the aliens or not....

wow...wow.... Otto I know I am a pusher for a stu lynch but coming out of a lurk (or v/la) and hammering is sorta well how can I say it?

I think gerhard might (repeat might) be scum on the wagon from a very mild read, that is his fishing early on and mid way. Not good for a vote yet. As for clau it is as he says for being very late on the wagon. However, now I am more leaning to otto for that nice hammer he just hit on stu.

Ok, I don't know if this is allowed or not since the night scene is coming up but I am assuming I can talk until it comes up.

Anyway: some quick thoughts.

1. Why otto why did you hammer! Even if he was scum we could have gotten some info. Anyway, if he flips scum I will put you near the top of my FoS list.
2. Again, if Stuart flips town I will be voting Emile most likely since he seemed to be hiding info and that he kept his vote on all freaking day! Stuart has to know something!

Also, it might be a linguistic problem, but I was getting the impression that you too are not bothered by the eventuality that Stuart may turn out to be town (which seems very unlikely to me, tbh)... you generally look pro-town to me, Tracey, but it is a fact that

Stuart got at L-1 twice, and both times someone stepped back pretty quickly

... this bothers me.

I wasn't bothered at all for a while; but I stepped back from my absolute frustration. I'll comment more on this, but I want to run it by the mod first. I'll post once more on this later today once I send my question and get a response.

In a game I've played before the town has gone after a lynch of someone so anti-town and it ended up being the downfall of the town. That is why I am hesitant to do so again since it is just now apparent how detrimental it was at the time.

Agreed. If Stu and Otto are both scum, Otto could be trying to cut the discussion short and trying to get some townie points by hammering his scum buddy who almost definitely would have been lynched D1 anyway.

Anyway, I think that this whole arguement is just WIFOM. I'm going to be watching Otto however no matter what Stuart flips but overall I doubt we're going to get anywhere by discussing weather or not Otto could be bussing assuming Stuart is scum.

You then see a group of scientists quickly and calmly take the remains of what was Stuart down to the lab for testing......

An hour later, the Head Scientist comes back with a clip-board in his hand. "The good news," he says, "is that the Ion Armor experiment was a complete success!". You don't know whether to clap or not to that information. "The bad news is that he was not lying at all. He was in fact, the beloved Captain Stuart Whyte, one of the best on the team. He will be deeply missed." A moment of silence is left to remember him, and you hope this is not a bad omen for the future.....

Alright then... that was a shocker. Anyway, I'm going to go back and reread everyone in iso and try and find something. My top two suspects however unless I find something are Emile and Otto. I will post my findings tomorrow probably.

Nowever, that brings me to another question. If Stuart was a bulletproof how would he know that Emile was scum (assuming he is)? I highly doubt that his PM just said "Emile is scum. Get him lynched" So the question is, how accurate was Stuart's vote and how likely is it with this info that Emile is scum?

The actual argument doesn't matter now that Stuart has flipped town, but why did you change your tune in one post? Would Otto have gained town points in your eyes or not?

Otto, and emmy are now top on my fos list. Otto does not gain town points in my mind. However, fact remains that good ol' cpt. stu was very anti-town in his play and I can't really blame anyperson on the wagon other then otto. Ion armour was as stretch but awww well.

I decided to put Stuart next to the L-edge to see what happened, but I didn't expect:
1) him to be hammered by Otto in such a rush (wifom or not wifom, that was a quick-hammer);
2) him to be town;
3) his crazy and pointless claim to be true.

I need to reconsider my FoS, cuz they seem to be almost completely fail (I could find no reason to vote Jamie in his later activity): Otto and Emile need to be seriously watched...
