Either way, here's what I'm thinking at the moment. If we're not going to lynch monkey, we should assume he's town for a while. If he's not, we'll catch him later.

I don't think we should, because if you assume he's town, but he's scum, you will miss out on all the interactions his buddies are having with him.

I'd like to know what about this argument gives you that they are both town. I agree that the points against DDD are pretty bad. But where do you get that the bad points mean they are both town?

Sorry I've been inactive - I'll have sporadic activity for the next week or so due to exams. In any case, my thoughts on the current wagons:

1; The DDD wagon is attractive due to his back-and-forth with SC on Page 12, but something about MonkeyMan hopping on the wagon so quick makes me pump the brakes. I still wouldn't be opposed to a DDD lynch, though.

2; For anyone NOT voting kyle: what is your read on him, and why aren't you voting him if you have a scum read?

3; Socrates made some good posts recently, so despite the fact I was suspicious of him, I think he'd be a decent candidate for mayor (if people aren't going to vote nhammen. Or me ).

4; I'm starting to get some definite reads here, but I won't be sharing until D2.

Combined forces of new job and university pretty much drained 99% of my time and strength to write and contribute here. I'll try to actually be useful the first moment I'll have some free time and energy to play this game, which should be tomorrow (hopefully).

I only managed to skim this thread once during those 2 days, but I'm still surprised, that anyone actually believes in Monkey's claim, especially after his very bad vote on DDD.

Also Reckoner is so much buddying with nhammen, it makes me sick.

So yeah, two of my main suspect are still on the list. I'll try to look at everything more closely tomorrow.

Just so you guys know, it is currently finals week for me. I just spent this whole day studying for, getting pumped about, and failing my calculus III final. I am in a terrible mood.

So ya, I won't be posting much during the day for the rest of this week.

So, you don't think town would want to elect someone based on reputation?

I think it should be fairly obvious that I think that is a terrible reason to want someone to be mayor.

Its also a shallow and easy to manufacture reason that a scum wouldn't expect to get much flack for. Much easier than coming up with a plausible town read and a nuanced justification for support.
