@Yabba - My voting Sabre was not even close to being similar to SpyreX's vote. He voted for NO REASON. SpyreX made some comment about Sabre possibly claiming scum then voting for Sabre. That's it! I do not think my logic is convoluted. Sabre made a mistake when he said he was lurking, acted (or just is) crazy to cover it up, then when Serial gave him an out, claimed it was all some stupid gambit. It was a stupid gambit, but thinking him scummy was, to me, a logical conclusion.

I freely admit this is a deadline vote based solely on my read (and therefor trust) of SerialClergyman as town. Blame it on the weather if you like. I live in Northern Virginia (the Washington, DC area for those of you who are geographically challenged), so spent most of Sunday shoveling and am the ONLY person at work today since I could get to an underground metro stop. (Trains are not running above ground yet.) The chance of me checking this thread and actually contributing more by tomorrow's deadline is minimal.

I don't have much time now, but I'll try to do a recap post before leaving.

Huh, well, I was not expecting to read this at all until after Christmas weekend. I had expected us to have either lynched someone or had a deadline no-lynch. I do not expect to be able to have any significant time for this game until at least next Monday other then a the time I have planed to reopen the thread for the game I am modding.

Mod: V/LA from Tues 22 Dec @ 5pm EST until Mon 28 Dec

I definitely will have time to catch up on everything before the new deadline and will reconsider my vote based on developments between now and then. My basic stance is the same. I think Nikanor is the best choice, followed by SpyreX, and only then Coug. My current vote on Coug can be directly related to the fact the deadline was approaching and I will leave it there because, frankly, I do not expect there to be enough participation over the next week for a major shift to occur to either of my two top targets. I also have no real idea for the 4th scum spot.

I really dont think Nikanors gameplay is a reason enough to lynch him at this point in the game. Sure, he has done some silly posts, but I would be a hypocrite to penalilze him for this. Just look at ANY other game I have been in, or glance at my sig, to see why I say this.

So I will try to put my vote out there before thursday, but it wont be on NIkanor.

StrangerCoug still has his vote on SerialClergyman, which sets off distancing alarms in my head. Usually, I'd expect scum to vote the competing bandwagon.

I'd say Col and skitzer are scummy based entirely on their votes for me. yabba not so much; he voted for me on d1, so he at least shows some consistency with his suspicions.

What leads you to believe that Kreriov and I are of different alignments as opposed to Kreriov bussing me? Your saying that Kreriov doesn't want to look like he's on my wagon comes off more as something that would indicate he is scum regardless of my alignment.

Progress report: Just got done with day one and my brain is slightly mushy. Take a break to let it simmer for a bit.

I'm a little surprised that there isn't more discussion since the deadline was pushed back. I know xmas is coming up and all, but lets not let the extra time go to waste by simply waiting for the replacements to catch up.

Also, I'm pretty sure Kreriov is scum from my read so far; so he's probably just distancing from everything. SCoug could be SK and Kreriov knows that Coug isn't part of the mafia group and is distancing anyways. Without actual reading/interpretation here; but it's a possibility from my reads so far. I haven't seen scum distance from scum; but I sure as hell haven't seen everything either.

I'm not proposing that I am scum with SerialClergyman. I am saying that what he's saying makes no sense if he is town. He thinks I'm scum, but how does he know that I can't kill him? That only makes sense if we're both scum.

My point with what you isolated in your second post is basically that if I were scum that knew that he had gotten me in big trouble, he'd be dead right now. I may prefer to avoid killing my attackers as scum, but I am not a masochist. I have an idea of my own scum meta.

Unless he knows you're scum. In which case I can't think of any case in which he WOULDN'T want to look like he was on your wagon of his own volition. I suppose one of you could be sk, I didn't really take that into account when calling people scum.

I haven't seen scum distance from scum; but I sure as hell haven't seen everything either.

By this, do you mean that you haven't seen scumteams distancing between the teams, or within them?
