I'm still trying to make sense of Kyle's claim. Why as scum would he claim to have tracked MIC to Kerrigan when Kerrigan is clearly alive and well? So it's not as he's pinnned a kill on her and it's not like such a claim would help flush a power role with a mass claim already happening. Doesn't make any sense.

The fact that he suggested that Hoopla might have been the SK when he knows she didn't make a kill on N1 is pretty damning against him, but the puzzle pieces just don't fit neatly.

My theory: Kyle thought about making MIC looks like a scum/second source of kills, by saying MIC targeted Kerrigan, and Reck died instead as a Bodyguard, because he targeted Kerrigan as well.

Actually, that's the only thing I could come up with, as any other theory didn't have any sense in it.

And Kerrigan along with the bodyguard we do apparently have an unclaimed killing role, so that's at least two roles that could be blocked.

Actually... After this massclaim, I think that other killing role is more likely to be Serial Killer. He's against mafia, so they could have interest in blocking him (though, in this situation he only helps them so far, as he didn't hit any scum yet), and he won't claim it openly for obvious reasons. At this point, if we would have a Vig on the board, I don't think he would want to stay hidden at this point, so much to fakeclaim vanilla.

Damn, so we do have an SK. I was kinda hoping it'd be a vig, but a vig would've claimed.

Anyway, given that Kyle claimed tracker, I don't think he's the SK. Given that Kyle was eager to bus his scumbuddy (and claim tracker), I don't think he's alone. Given that Kyle is being defended by Charter, I think the remaining mafia are Kyle and Charter with Danny as the SK.

BUT as Kerrigan said, there seems to be a bit too many vanillas for four scum to be balanced, so I could be wrong entirely as I have been until now. Then again I'm by no means an expert on balance and balance speculation lost me my last game (Charter would know all about this), so I dunno.

Kyle is 100% scum at this point, and I will hammer (I think some of you forgot Kerrigan had a doublevote) just so you can all see this truth from my point of view.

And *just in case* Danny tries to unclaim and reclaim vig sometime in the future using his post just now as a subtle breadcrumb ('flush a power role', 'unclaimed killing role'), note that Danny already put out a theory that Charter might be the SK, whereas if he was an vig he would know that there is no SK and that Charter was not the one responsible for the kills.

Another day, another quick decission. Despite strong protests, Kyle99 was taken to the gallows. A while later, he had become a mere body, and a search could begin. On his right side, a tattoo could be found, similar to the one Monkeyman576 had had. A thorough search of Kyle99's house yielded nothing special though.

Tired from three exhausting days, everyone went to bed again.

Kyle99 has been lynched day 3. He is now dead. He was a mafia goon.

Day 3 has ended, it is now night. Night 3 lasts at least until Saturday, januari 2nd 2010, 8.30 am GMT.

Charter had gone to sleep the night before, planning to spent the entire night in bed to participate in the discussions the next morning. Someone had other plans for him though. When the living villagers entered his home the next morning, they found him still lying in his bed, but definately not peacefully asleep. People don't usually sleep peacefully when a pillow is pushed tightly against their face, after all. That tends to cause trouble with breathing.

Charter has been killed night 3. He is now dead. He was a pro-town vanilla townie.

Debonair Danny DiPietro, on the other hand, did make it to the mayors house. He clearly wasn't feeling well at all, though. He was swaying left and right, his eyes were spinning in their sockets, and what he said was barely audible. "I have ... confession ... murdered ... no evil ... kill scumbags" was all that could be made out before he collapsed.

Debonair Danny DiPietro has been killed night 3. He is now dead. He was a pro-town vigilante.

Argh, I hate being in this position...well, obviously I need to reread both of you in ISO (again) and see what I come up with. Based on my last read-through, I thought MIC had a high probability of being scum and that Cathart could be a possible SK. With a town vigilante dead, though, it would seem more likely that we have a third mafia member versus an SK, but who knows?

I can't do the ISO right now because I'm on vacation with a friend (and we're attending a party this afternoon), but I do have one question to ask of MIC: Why did you not agree with the MonkeyMan lynch?

Why did you not agree with the MonkeyMan lynch?

First of all, the entire case was based on Monkey's single post on page one, which whilst scummy did not remotely warrant a lynch at all. The rest consisted of Charter overinflating the case into something it wasn't IMO, and when Monkey did start acting really scummy I assumed it was because he was cracking under the unfair pressure that Charter was giving him.
