0% is a bit high, don't you think? I've seen this said before, and the person still did get killed, although it's mainly been in cases where the player was a doc or vig, but nonetheless, it isn't always 0%. Plus, if DM is dead come morning, then we can expect a suicide from pooky the following morning and vice versa. If neither of them get killed tonight, then we go after Pooky tomorrow.

Did we not read my last post??
draygn_mage wrote:4. The way I see it, there are 15 players left, 4 of whom are probably wolves, leaving 11 townies. we have no clear suspects at this point so going by the odds we will mis-lynch today and be down to 10. tonight, the wolves kill someone besides me, and tomorrow we are down to 9. seeing that Pooky and I are alive tomorrow, you lynch one of us and the other bites the dust leaving you with 7. That night the wolves kill again and you wake up with the wonderful news that it is 6 townies vs. 4 wolves and pray you don't mis-lynch again, or that's game.

Any faults in my logic?
At least point out where my logic is faulty before you kill us.

I KNEW that Pooky was my lover. I didn't know that he was a wolf. There was no part of my PM that said I would die a day later, I die at dawn, I thought.

I outted my lover because I believed there was a viable chance a vigilante would get trigger happy and decide to blow me away(and consequently my lover based on the town reaction to my claim)

Extreme WIFOM without any pressure? Why would I do that?

There are two reasons the scum would not attempt to shoot my lover at this point,

A) The Town has pretty much guranteed they will lynch both of us if we survive the night

B) There is a possibility that DM will be doc protected.

To say that I'm fustrated with the slacking from most of the town as well as the incredibly amount of doubt/pressure put upon someone who was doing his best to HELP the town would be an understatement.

I now highly believe the werewolves would not try to go after DM, at least not now, if they were to go after him, they would at least wait until knocking out 2 protowners would hand them the win since now they can expect the town to lynch me/dm or a vigilante to get triggerhappy and pop me/dm.

Think about it, if you're a werewolf, why shoot up a protown couple if leaving them out in the open gives you both lynchbait and vigbait?

I'm not saying you WIFOMed. I'm meerly saying it's possible to pass of your werewolfyness as a miller-type role. An extreme case would suggest that DM is a mafia partner.

I would agree with that statement if Pooky had been under pressure of ANY kind when he came forward, but he wasn't. This clearly helps the town more than the mafia as we have given you a way to test the cop. If this was a mafia gambit, I would have claimed that one of us was human and the other was a wolf and make the town use up 2 investigations to get us both, or at least leave a way out.

@ STD- a mafia partner who pretty much had to be dragged into the gambit?? If it was a mafia ploy, I would have hung Pooky out to dry and advanced myself as a confirmed townie when he died and was revealed as a wolf.

Hmm.
But you must admit, it makes for rather interesting balance.
If you didn't know he was a wolf, he need not have known you were scum.
Interesting.

Why you wouldn't hang Pooky out to dry is because your deaths are related...it's a matter of survival. Hmm...
Your happiness is intertwined with your outlook on life.

If this was a mafia gambit, yes, the ideal play by me would be to claim to know nothing about a lover and let you lynch him. This would give me the perfect alibi (as close to counter claiming someone as you can get in this game).

I was still hesitant to confess to being Pooky's lover as he claimed to be a wolf. Technically, I'm dead no matter what I do, so I might as well tell the truth and let everyone know that we are lovers.

Aside from that, i am a vanilla townie, so if I am the lynch today or tomorrow, so be it (provided you really think Pooky is mafia). If not, at least make the mafia waste a night kill to get rid of us.

*hugs his lover tight*

Who would've known the town could be so cold and ungrateful for the risks we'd try to take to help it?

No more hiding our love, no more anonymous letters.

Let's hold each other tight till the end comes.

I don't even know how to respond to that comment ...

Anyways, I'll stick with my vote on Roland for now, the lovers can always be tested at some point anyways .. Worse case scenario is that the bad guys don't waste a night kill on one of them, and we'll just have to lynch one later to see.

Oh crap. Please don't tell me all those times I talked to my scum partners at night in various games throughout my mafia career I was cheating.

Here's the facts about the gambit. Are you dead yet? No? Are you dying? No? So it's working? That is, hypothetically.

I just love how this bandwagon keeps piling up, but no one has any reasoning behind it other than the fact that I didn't like how BabyJesus was ignoring what could be a very real possibility. 8)

I'm a villager in the town of Garulphos, a vaniall townie, from what I understand. If you're going to lynch me, just make sure to keep an eye on those who jumped on my reasonless bandwagon without a reason themselves.
