Here's my answers to 745 sentence by sentence.ready2rock wrote:Also, while you're here CCARaven, perhaps you can address what I pointed out in post 745 concerning your posts 82 and 153.
Major lurking. Ever since I assembled my Richard post, I've tried to be more active, I think I've posted more in the last three days than the first two weeks combined.ready2rock, post 745 wrote:CCARaven4: Lurking.
I'm trying to find some original content. I wasn't initially going to post about Parama's analysis on DragonsofSummer, because I didn't have anything original to say about it, and I'm trying to cut the crap out of my posts where I say what everyone else says. I definitely took it a little too far with my far-fetched Richard post, but I'm trying.Has posted ZERO original content in the thread.
In my 153, I sited 82 as my main reason for my vote that I didn't end up casting. The 82 post was really not anything that I should have used to make a case with, it was just something odd I had noticed. When Bogre called me out as to why I didn't hammer him, I answered withI also don’t like how in his post 82, he said that his reasoning for TheLonging wasn’t enough to act on, yet after a wagon had formed on TheLonging, he said that he would have voted for him for the exact same reasoning as post 82 if it wasn’t for his claim, saying that he would have been “completely confident in a hammer” (153).
The claim is what did it for me, but as I said in this post, it really shouldn't have at all.CCARaven4 wrote:If you're a town power role, you would claim Vanilla Townie so that the Mafia doesn't target you at night.
If you're actually Vanilla Townie, it would be stupid to claim anything but that, if you claim power role, Mafia will kill you, and if you claim Mafia, you shouldn't be playing.
And finally, if you're Mafia, again, you would claim Vanilla Townie because if you claim any power role, people are going to want to know the results of your power role as soon as you use it.
Going back to when I decided against dropping the hammer on TheLonging, I hadn't thought it all the way through, and if I could go back, I would have voted and hammered him. There was so much good evidence against him, and the claim really shouldn't have changed my thinking at all, but I let it rattle me. I didn't want to be that guy that hammers a townie, but there was so much more evidence for him to be mafia than town.
I hope this answers all your questions, let me know if you have any others. I really don't feel that I answered the last part very well, my head is just swimming right now, I think I'm getting sick :/
