I want both of you to try and convince me you are town via explaining why the other is scum and why you yourself at town, please.

And then we will discuss whether it's a prisoner's dilema or a Julien Double Kill, or a DTM double kill, which I think is way less likely...

Haylen. If you think that Poro is the only scum, the only way you can win is through lynch/day kill. How do you jump from that to PD.

Also, its very unlikely that Jullien has double kill given that N1 popular died if you think he's mafia. Your theory only works if Jullien was the SK or could independently kill with his mafia buddy (that means mafia could kill twice in a night o-o). This would explain the 4 kills at night one.

It's more likely that the Town Emo has a suicide mechanic involved with its role (just judging by its name). Given that Zasier is the town death talker, its more likely that the suicide would have been less impacted since Zaszier was the person who could communicate with the dead Emo.

We also have a confirmed night vig which confirms n0's kill on Zora, and Poro's redirect story. What makes no sense if he is a vig why he shot UK.

Based on role information from your POV, you should be aiming for scum based on your investigation: aka Jullien is scum.

Okay, to prove that I'm not scum: I'm not going to vote in this post. I have two votes and so can control the lynch (assuming that it's two votes to lynch).

There were two kills, suggesting either Poro-vig shot UK, or that Haylen is scum and DTM SK or vice versa. The second option is icky, so I'm going to ignore it. It also seems spectacularly bastardly, though admittedly this is appropriate, if DTM has both a day and a nightkill.

Right now, I would lynch Haylen. She's posting better than she was, but hey. How about a case on DTM? And DTM, likewise on Haylen.

How about a case on you? If we are just going by role information we either have an:

Insane Cop Haylen
A Random Cop Haylen
A Scum Haylen

If we assume

a. The only possible case Haylen should focus on is a Julien scum case.
b. If this is true, then her results cannot be trusted, and we may or may not have a confirmed Julien. Aka, her role information is useless which brings us to c.
c. We have to examine her game play, and poor breadcrumb in comparison to UK's crumb since day 1.

In the case against Haylen if she is scum we have:
1. A poor bread crumb which she pointed out that "she got confused" when Pom flipped town Emo. This was poorly done because other then this, she hasn't done.That and her role is the only one that hasn't been role confirmed.

2. Day 1 was fluffy play. Day 2 was more fluffy play despite the end day analysis. But if you think about it there has been less analysis by her, even with the Ort and CSL mess that we have.

In the case for Haylen:
1. If we can prove that Haylen is some kind of cop, if she did investigate that clears her from the second kill if we assume that Poro-vig shot.

2.If we assume that Poro-vig shot we only have 1 scum left. We we assume he didn't shoot because 3 people died n1, that means we have two scum left and its PD.

In the case against you we have:
a. If Haylen truly investigated you at all, that clears her from 1 of the two kills. That means we have either DTM scum (which means DTM-scum can kill twice in a day) or Julien scum (which means hes a DV and can kill at night).

b. If Haylen is insane then you are scum.

c. You focused on lurker hunting, rather then scum hunting all of day 1. If you look at the early lurker list

At the moment, apart from Haylen, CSL, ortolan, RBT, Zazier, and Zoraster all qualify as lurkers by dint of postcount alone.

All (but one since Haylen is still aive) has been confirmed to be townie. In context the only few that would be valid is CSL and ort for their anti-town play, and if you are arguing against Haylen, her fluffy mafia/anti-town/blah votes.

Ort and CSL are being useless and I would probably be willing to vote them, but so far they seem the 'obvious' choices, and I don't like to focus on the obvious in anything. That said, this doesn't mean they're not acting in a scummy manner, and I have found scum in the past by lynching the people who are obviously scummy.

This...rubs me the wrong way. It feels both like "Hey, this is too easy, let's look elsewhere. Um...but wait, I HAVE found scum by lynching the scum in front of me before". It's basically leaving your options open in a big way, like you are pre emptively justifying a planned arbitrary switch.

Well, quite, apart from the 'arbitrary' bit.

RBT hasn't done enough to make me unvote him, though.

I also noted a tunnel war between you and RBT. Had RBT flipped scum, I would have said intense scum bussin' is happening. The other, weaker argument, is that there is a red flag for the tunneling, and the admission that the Ort/CSL wagon was "too easy"

d. Your blatent ATE considering that KMD posted: "With possibly 3 players alive, a certain number of votes could potentially lynch someone" (Though it is safe to assume 2 to lynch given the events of the last day. The change in flavour may be worrying).

e. Your insistance that you are cleared to the town based on d.



In a case for you
1. You are role confirmed.
2. You chose to hammer the mod. rather then push for a double hammer. (If a double hammer occured, it's more likely that only 1 death would have occured if we believe that the night-vig shot. If it was 2 and Haylen was a mislynch, and we have 2 scum, then town is screwed, even if Poro shot correctly. It would be up to a cross kill.)

I wasn't exactly sure how to play it. I've been PR once or twice before, and I did exactly the same thing there as I did here. These sorts of things don't enter my head: 'Oh look, you can't get NK'd, you can be as protown and active as you want.' What entered my head was: 'Oh crap, PR, must play this as I usually do.'

So the type of PR I am didn't come into it.
