Mod, if Dranko were to investigate Pooky, and Pooky was also vigkilled, would Dranko get a result?
This the quote that bugs me. YES, he gets a result. I've never seen a game in which most night actions don't happen simultaneously. I've gotten cop results on days that I have died, so why wouldn't dranko?

It's ALMOST enough to make me put him one from lynch, but I'm not 100% yet.

That depends on the mod I would suppose.
Personally, I never send a dead investigator results.
Other mods send a result that "you died" or something like that.

Seems like there's quite a lot of vanilla townies in this game. This doesn't mean that Roland is lying, but who knows.
I can agree to lynch a claimed townie, in order to keep the power roles safe, but at this point we should be able to find something better. I said "we should" but I'm the first to admit that I don't have the slightest clue.

As for the cop result, I think Phoebus is right: it depends on the mod.
Seems like Bamboomancer is trying too hard to find a reason to vote for Roland.

I was a cop on mtgs and the night I died the mod basically just combined the stuff telling me what I found out, but also that before I could share my good news, I felt the cold edge of a knife slide across my throat.

With 15 residents alive, it will take 8 of you to decide to lynch someone. Keep in mind that while there is no mod-imposed deadline right now,
your natural deadline of 29 1/2 days will expire early on August 10th
. Previous deadline rules of half-majority-of-votes, minimum 4, will apply in that case.

ok, no one has posted anything useful for a while, so
vote Phoebus
on a gut hunch. and
FOS Baby Jesus
for the same reason. I feel like the mafia members are just lying low right now and letting us make the mistakes that hand them the game.

Elaborate, mikehart. I'm sick of people jumping on my wagon because somebody else gave a reason. What are your reasons?

it could be that you claimed townie, or that the game is stagnant.

Also i'm wondering who you are investigating tonight, dranko?

In 24 hours I'm leaving for a scout camp and I'll be with absolutely no Internet access until August 10th. If you feel it's too long, feel free to replace me.
I should be able to log in one last time before leaving.

Let's play a game while we're waiting for things to get exciting again. Oooh, 15 people? Well, I know a good one we can play. It's called mafia.

Unvote, Vote: Mikehart
Since roland claimed, you can't use other people's reasons, you actually have to explain why you either disbelieve the claim or want to h00s a townie.

Rainy Thursday Vote Count
, powered by The Count-Counter 2000:

rolandofthewhite - 5 (NanookTheWolf, BabyJesus, milkman, Phoebus, mikehart)

BabyJesus - 2 (rolandofthewhite, PookyTheMagicalBear)
milkman - 1 (Mastermind of Sin)
Phoebus - 1 (draygn_mage)
mikehart - 1 (Save the Dragons)

Not voting (5): Coron, Bamboomancer, d_rouge, Dranko20, PeaceBringer

With 15 residents alive, it will take 8 of you to decide to lynch someone normally.
---------------------------------------------------------
Phoebus, I'm not worried about you, but d_rouge being gone for two weeks... would still be less silent than some of you. Unfortunately, to keep the game from stalling, I will probably have to replace you. Feel free to post again in the next 24 hours before that, and I'll kick in your replacement (and possibly one other) afterward.

Well, it's funny how things seem to get fixed after I make a fuss about them.
My regular connection's back but with the weather forecast, I wouldn't be surprised too much if I dropped out.
For now, lynch roland.

I'm a townie, you scum! ::shakes fist::

I might not be that important to the town, but you're wasting a lynch.

well to be honest i believe him and i hope the magistrate is willing to save him like he did the last lynch. but i hate slow games almost as much as lynching vanilla townies so i chose the lesser of two evils.

So you choose to vote for roland?

Unvote: RolandoftheWhite
and
Vote: Mikehart

I'm still suspicious of Roland and his claim doesn't bring anything for me to be against continuing on with his lynch, but what Mikehart just did definatly rises suspicions on him in my book.

why nanook? you yourself said his claim does not make you want to stop this lynch. I said essentially the same thing as you did. I was trying to be honest with the town by saying I'd rather lynch a claimed vanilla townie whom i think the magistrate will save from lynch than to let this game to stagnate.

Yes, but you also said that you believed his claim .. if that is true, then why vote for him? You say that you'd rather lynch a claimed vanilla townie, but if you think that townie is innocent, then why support the lynch? Difference between what you said along with how I feel is that I don't think that Roland really is town, I find him more of the scummy type. I will still vote for him, but I had to say something about your post, and at least point it out.

Unvote: Mikehart
and
Vote: RolandoftheWhite
