The first, I pretty much explained already. The second ties into something that I've found very reliable lately. My "Page One Nervousness" Tell. First, the "didn't notice it was open" thing. That almost sounds like a "sorry for lurking" post, except that it's the very first post of the game. Why make that kind of comment when you're the first to post? Sounds like scum overexplaining. Next, the second sentence tells us "I'm about to jokevote". It's the first post of the game. What else would he be doing? More overexplaining. Sometimes newer scum get paranoid and make mistakes like this. It's what I've looked for in my past few games and it's been pretty damn accurate. I'll post links when the games end if you'd like.

Except that I've found them not to be scumtells, in fact the second one I've only encountered on newbtownies, which I was happy about because it gave me some easy pushing as scum.

I'd rather not have you hammer him on the idea that "usually one neighbor is scum", but more on the grounds of his scumminess. I'm not sure about the context of this post/quote, but I'll think about it later and decide what it is after I've (re)read the thread.

2 kills means possibly mafia/SK, but the fact that dana was killed makes me think a vigilante seems more likely. I'm not sure about other people, but when NS flipped town, dana was at the top of my scum list.

I'm not sure where you get this from. The most likely explanation was that nico was hiding behind dana or he targeted a scum.

On kmd:
His nervous tell is bull. Trying to justify a stupid tell with one game is also bull. I could give two games where this nervous tell flipped two newbtownies. His appeals to authority have also been noted concerning this "tell".

This one quote also concerns me. It was about the neighbor claim "usually one of them is scum". NS flipped town. If kmd is scum, second neighbor is town. Unless the neighbor is someone I have in mind, in that case the neighbor is scum. ~mystery~

It's also rather hypocritical of him to go after the ns wagon, when I noted down that he was pushing ns very hard around page 4-5. Also, he was on that wagon as well. And lynch votecount analysis this early are fail. Sure, useful later on, but not on D2.


On jbernier:
It's more situational really. His vote hopping is very convenient. He hops on the kyle wagon as the third vote as it appears to gain momentum and he hops off the wagon as soon as it would look scummy to be on the kyle wagon. He then hops onto ls (iirc).

And kmd: the reason I didn't vote yesterday is because by the time I was caught up, hs had hammered. If I was given a chance to vote, it would have been on jbernier.

The problem lies here:

The standard setup involves three scum vs 9 townies.

kmd is a cop and has two innocents. charter, on whom I had a town read before kmd's cop claim and you. Besides kmd we have a 1 shot vig who I believe.

I know myself not to be scum, thus leaving jb (who I suspected yesterday) and hs. Which is two instead of three. If there is a godfather amongst the scum then following my assumptions it's you.

Good game. Scum played an awesome game. Even if we had lynched charter or kmd, the other would have gone to win the game.
