Lol. Yeah, my day 1 play was quite a spectacular success at shooting myself in the foot. I managed to take a pretty much guarenteed scum lynch and at the last second rally the troops, get everyone to follow me, and snatch defeat from the jaws of victory, haha.
I want us to win just for Yos' inevitable rant alone. -CrashTextDummie

Also I had to work at convincing Elli that we should kill Glork on night 3.

I actually wanted to kill him around night 2, but Elli said in QT that he didn't want to kill him. To this point, I still have no idea what he wanted to leave Glork alive, maybe he can share his thought process on that one.

As it was, Camn and KMD ended up being pretty good choices. (Though I wish I knew Haylen was gonna vig Camn... ^ _ ^)

lol.

Anyone know the company who runs random.org? I want to go and kick the guys who decided I should be town (a dangerous alignment for me anyway) and give me a bloody gun. Seriously, giving me a gun is like giving a blind child with finger spasms a gun.

That being said. I like the fast pace, Incog ^.^ And the setup and the modding, that was cool.
Seriously. Read your role PM before playing.
I am sorry if you have to prod me, I have absolutely no concept of time.

My prefered pronoun set is "cie/cir/cirs[elf]" but they is more than acceptable.

This proves the SaintKerrigan Axiom: If you go into Lylo and someone looks scummy, it's always the other person who's scum. Seriously, that's been true of every single game I went to Lylo in as town.

I was right that both of the scum were bussing Neto. Too bad I didn't take my own advice. :P

Incog, I would definitely play a game like this again. Be sure to let me know if you ever run it again, I want a pre-in. :D

Haylen calls bagsy for a quick mafia game. I think i'd prefer playing one rather than modding one, though. Due to the fact i'd find it more difficult to catch up.

I was talking about my games, specifically. lol.

The other thing I've learned is to policy lynch Elli. He's just too good as scum, plus we're never on the same side anyway.

Yeah, I wasn't sure if the exchange between Elli and Neto was genuine or not regarding Elli's play style, but I found him to be far more competent at mafia than he appears.

He's really good at acting scummily but making it seem random so you don't suspect it's actually scummy. That's why I have such a hard time reading him. :P

Would now be a good time to tell everyone rather than sending in 4 kill PM's, I actually sent in 8. Each night I changed my mind to an entirely different person. Each night featured the same person in the first PM. Anyone hazard a guess?

Well, for the record, I really didn't want to engage in that from the beginning. However, once Ellibereth showed up and started attacking me, I knew he wasn't going to back off, so I had to go into it a bit harder than I wanted to.

I think that Ellibereth needs to improve his play - that's not a judgment on his person, it's a reaction from having played with him several times. He won in this game because we started attacking each other early and got a reputation for having a fantastic gut. This is not a strategy that will work every game, though.

That being said, I'm solidly in the logic camp of mafiascum players, and am strictly against the growing tendency to play by gut. This is true regardless of my alignment. Someone who prefers a more guttural style of play might think otherwise.

One final note, I'd like to apologize for my poor play early on. I really didn't want it to turn out like that...But I would have had that policy discussion regardless of alignment. For proof of this, compare to Nouns Mafia. Still, I should have played a bit differently as scum, since I know that I have a tendency to get lynched on D1.
My posts are best read in the calm, reassuring voice of Morgan Freeman. I don't sound anything like him, but they sound best that way.

Temporarily retiring following the end of my current obligations.

Oh, and also, Mae was right -- I never actually believed in the Bogre lynch. Problem was, it was either him or me, and I wasn't a big fan of getting myself lynched. Believe me, I would've been real happy with a Zach lynch on Day 3...

*facepalm* Mafia players my foot.

Elli. I sent in Elli's name. Cause that's what instinct was telling me to do. But, as usual, I fought against my instincts and went for logic instead. Not cool.

From Day effing One.

Stuff It. Haylen has some new rules of theory.

1. Logic is scummy.
2. Logic cannot be used to help the town.
3. If you want to kill someone cause their posts are in the 'wrong' format, do it. They'll turn up scum.
4. Showing Emotion Aint Scummy.

Actually, logic was how I figured out that both Nato and Zach were scum. My gut told me both wagons were wrong; my gut was wrong, my logic was right.

I agree with you on number 4.
