Also, in re: the policy lynch comparison, what else do we have to work off of? I don't feel that there's been anything that would indicate a strong town read in any player.

At this point in the game I can only assume you do not trust Gayle's meta. As we all know what is going to happen and everyone can hold off on placing their vote if they are that worried. A double voter in this big of a game is not a big deal. It will be later on though.

I personally don't see the fuss being made over RayFrost not wanting double vote. The guy doesn't think he'll do a good job at all with the votes, so why are people still voting him (unless I missed sarcasm somewhere in there.)

I think either Gayle or Yos would be good to give the double vote ability to, though I'll have my vote on Yos stay.

I believe that the person with the double vote will become more of a target once they have it. Think about it. Scum would try and take them out so the votes would change hands. Then someone would have 3 votes if not more. Once someone gets ahold of like 5 or 6 votes then things can go really bad. I would rather the better players get a hold of the votes then instead of now.

It should be noted that if scum gets a hold of that many votes then we are screwed and not in a good way! I'm pretty sure most people figured that out as well but I guess some people need things spelled out for them.

Why Gayle?

For me, I have liked Gayle's post thus far. I have a good feeling that we will know her stance and not wonder if she is going to quick lynch someone.

As I keep saying after the first night more then one person is going to have an extra vote so it is not like we are giving her the ability to day kill, at least right now.

Maybe... but I dont think whoever is elected is going to last long. I think the scum are going to want as many votes as possible to end up in one person's control. Most likely a flacky person who is going to just join a bandwagon and not really do any scum hunting of their own. It doesnt help that most players that play this game fall under this category.

Its my believe that the person who gets the extra vote will be nightkilled (unless they are the scum or are protected). Its just means for people to make you a target. Updating your list is to make sure your vote becomes in the control of someone you think is town.

I have to side with Gayle on this one. This is more of a case that you dont agree with her so you have to resort to discredit her instead of coming up with a real argument as to why you do not agree with her.
