This game is good illustration of why zwet should be banned permanently from the site.

This was not a game that fits my scum style of play. At least my read on Kast and SB were dead on, despite no one else believing them. Sly actually surprised me being scum, figured he was going to flip town.

Just really really really mad at ani for putting up kmd when it was obvious he was one of just a few who would be putting me up. It would of been very justifiable to put up me or pabs who wouldnt of put up any producer.

I think the thing that had me wanting to join in the game the most was when Kast called out Hewitt as scum with Llamafluff but never said boo when Kmd was nominated by Sly for HOH after his eviction.
I know this was hard a bit for the scum team. They had to battle some bad plays but if you look at the last game scum won so this actually had a nice balance and had it not been for some bad moves the scum could have won this I think.

Fun game... I was actually more correct this game than I usually am. I especially love how my wild guess Day 3 about Kast being a Chenbot was awesome (even though I ended up losing faith in that until the end).

If it was up to me, though, I don't think I'd have ever guessed that Llama was scum.

I was going to until the ani/saber bet came to light. Once that was out, his actions seemed far less scummy and far more asshat. I knew he was an easy target that would be eliminated soon and I wanted to nail a more difficult producer target the first day. Llama would have went up after Paltry took Kmd off the block if I thought there was a chance of Llama's eviction, I just didn't sense the support. Hewitt's play after replacing in and Paltry's panic saved the day, at least temporarily, for the producers at that point. Hewitt would have been evicted if Paltry hadn't panicked.

Interesting because you were right about Llama and hewitt, and we were right for evicting you, but we were wrong on the reasons that we evicted you!

[Besides the point, I still think Sens' replacing-out was entirely irrelevant to him being scum.]

Also amusing is that the main reason I suspected ani (and that Paltry did, too, I think) was his illogical attack on Sens, and then Sens ended up being his scum-partner!

The other interesting thing is how Kast and hewitt fit the typical roles of "two townies at each others throats," and yet, neither of them were town! And it took the town until the end of the game to fully realize that.

This game has really renewed my interest in mafia... and it also makes me wish there was a real Reality TV Show based on mafia. For it to be interesting to a general audience, it would probably have to fit the rule of "you have to survive to win," which was thematically implemented here, but I don't think anybody took that seriously.

About me panicking: Meh. I got over-presumptuous. But I really did have a strong pro-town read on both... although I was completely wrong about hewitt/Sens.

Overall, I had a lot of fun with this game considering I was only around for three days of game play. Arguing with Sly, kmd and pablito was exciting even if it led to my lynch.

Thing I'm proud of: despite being essentially eliminated by Kmd, I didn't let it cloud my pro-town read on him.

WTG Town though. After my lynch, only one mislynch! Awesome sauce.

He wasn't playing to his town meta. I won't elaborate though on the off chance I can catch him the same way in the future. I think he's pretty aware of my perception of his play though.

You had a really good read. I noted the same thing on reading through before agreeing to replace in, then made sure to cut that part out when I posted my initial notes. The key difference between Zwet and Saber was that Saber had been "dropped" on the initial nomination and never considered again. Zwet's was still

supposedly

under consideration, but was not picked anyway.

@Sly-
I definitely think you should have run with the saberwolf mislynch rather than get the town upset with you on D1. I can see your thoughts, but it was a bit ambitious and it ended up blowing up on you.

This game format really needs scum to have at least one partner or they get screwed in endgame. Even then, we would probably have been fine if Sironigous didn't get himself modkilled.

@KMD-
If saber had not claimed to be town in that other game, would you have trusted him in this one?

Thanks for the game. Some thoughts:
-Coup and PoV were not so powerful as to require mid-game nerfs. The nerfs were only necessary due to players getting modkilled, but a modkill is

supposed

to penalize your team. The argument that Coup allows a scum team to win isn't accurate; even without the modkills, Coup allows a scum team to win if they play well.
-Saber should have been modkilled when he was banned. He essentially spoke with (all) other players about his alignment in his ongoing game. Even if there was a possibility of lying, it's still a direct rules violation of

Though since you didn't know why he was banned, I can understand your decision to go with a replacement.
-The Coup was a really interesting mechanic. Could you post the different guesses that were made?
