Astro wrote: unvoted DP because my initial vote was totally random, and added a silly comment about there now no longer being a bandwagon against him.
You can see how that would appear scummy though, right?

So, it seems that we have 2 people at the moment that are the leading candidates for scum: Johnny and Astro.

Johnny does seem a bit obliging but I'm thinking that it is more out of newbieness than scumminess. I'm not sure though; it's hard for me to get a good read on him. As for Astro, I can't seem to figure the reason for the cryptic vote of inhim. What is it about post #25? Can you elaborate a bit more?

Astronauts behaviour is weird, but I would not say scummy.

I'm very happy with my vote on Johnny, he has all the signs of a less experienced scumbag.

If making bad jokes is scummy, I'm probably scummier than most people around here. I don't agree that retracting random votes is scummy.

I didn't like the way he justified his random vote. You'd think a townie will put a bit more thought into who we lynch, while inHim in post #25 says he's happy lynching pretty much anyone. I've got nothing more on him.

Several as in two and scum group as in a mafia or a lone SK.
By the definition of a group, it's got to be two or more people interacting.

I still think Johnny is the one most deserving of my vote. I have no intention of switching to Astronaut at this point. If I were going to switch, inHim is the one who has made my nose wrinkle the most. Just a hunch at this stage.

How does my post [25] implicate that I'm "happy lynching pretty much anyone"? I don't understand.

Allow me to explain my actions...

First off, I did not post as I was busy with several other things.
Second, I random voted Dragon, not noticing he already had 3 votes.

My actions may appear scummy, but I am entirely sorry that they do. I am not a newbie, but this happens to be my first game in which I was not mafia. So, sadly, I know not how to act other than "don't lie" and don't roleclaim.

Bah,
unvote: Johnny

Not convinced he's innocent, but my conscience doesn't allow me to try and Day 1 lynch someone who might possibly be playing their first game as a townie.

vote: inHim

This vote's as good as any other
(Seriously - I don't see anything wrong with post #25 either - it's more the tone of your posts)

Boy, did I have to dig deep to find that quote. :) But yes, I see now that a group should be more than one person.

First you random voted Johnny (well, I'm assuming it was random), in [25] you say that your (random) vote is as good as any other. In my opinion, there are votes that are better than the random ones. Not much to base a suspicion upon, I agree, but it's something. I think my current vote is better than my previous random one.

What halfpint mentioned in her Post [40] is still evident - the past couple of posts that JCP and Talitha have made seem a little off to me.

- Talitha - thinks Johnny is most deserving of the vote
- JCP - states it's his first time as not mafia
- Talitha - "Oh, you're not mafia? OK, I'll switch to inHim."

Does no one else see the problem in the above?

Uh, inHim, when you use quotation marks like that you should at least make sure that what is inside them has some resemblence to what the person actually said.

I'm content to get a feel for the new players on Day 1 without trying to lynch the pants off them.

Speaking of which, Windslicer, are you still with us?

My part in quotation marks has semblance, oh yes. You just hid it beneath a layer of benevolence to new players.

Well, nothing happened on the first page. And on the second page it was just the Astronaut controversy on "Why did you unvote?" I found the unvote suspicious, and he hasn't convinced me otherwise yet, but not suspicious enough to deserve a vote.

The rest has just been dialogue.

I don't think anything inHim has said has been too suspicious.

Johnny/Talitha are slightly suspicious, but nothing that can't be looked over if nothing else comes of it.

You didn't mention DP. Has he been suspicious enough to deserve your vote, Windslicer? Because it appears your vote is on him.

DP did not get my vote because he was suspicious, if you read my post maybe you'd understand. Before you ask me to talk, I prompt you to read.

Ok :) There's not much to go on as it is just the first day and no one's realy done anything interesting, so since you gave me the idea...

Vote Dragon Phoenix
:)
I'm not entirely sure - is that intended as a baseless random vote, an OMGUS vote, or a gesture to DP? In any case, thanks for clearing up that you're not voting DP because you're suspicious of him.

Do you think it's
productive
to be voting someone who isn't suspicious, when there are people you think are suspicious?

Well, if it satisfies you

unvote DP

I don't think anyone is suspicious enough to deserve a vote, my vote was kept on DP, because it wasn't threatening him and I didn't want to be accused of "unvoting when pressured".

So, meh.
