If you look closely I say that Heilo is 'mostly' a policy lynch. Mostly. But I felt that the dragging of his feet, and other uber-lurks could actually be a scum, hoping that we'd take too long to get to a good lynch (and this seems to have eventuated, due to lots of v/la)
But his recent posts are just so bad that I feel he's now more likely to be a VI. I've got another theory too, but I won't go into that.

Also, I object to the idea that I'd be the prime candidate if Heilo flipped town. Tunnel much?
Yeah I've been pushing a Heilo lynch, because I felt it was the best we could do on short notice when people like you, xvart, go on V/LA. I'm not the only one. Others have been saying we lynch him or get him replaced. And I don't see him getting replaced.

Yo, Mina is post 32 what you are referring to when you say I'm ignoring your case?

If so heres my response: I didn't respond cause thats not a case, pointing out I voted for a lurker and FoS'ed Kintetic isn't even anaylsis; in conclusion lolololol @ the case. Hope that helps.

Feel free to vote me but don't try to misrep and say I'm ignoring acusations agianst me.

I think I can say you are ignoring me, though. What about Helio's posts mean that he's contributing more than I am to the game? You now turn and vote Helio when he only has one vote on him, so it's an odd vote if you're attempting to boost a competing wagon.

I would really prefer Helio, if only because day 1 is the best point for a policy/troublesome player lynch. As the game goes on his scummieness will continue to be passed as newbieness and it will be more difficult to pull the trigger in place of someone who is generally acting scummy without such a convenient excuse.

I never said anything about content, just that you were lurking more, when I posted that you were more lurking then Helio you had .444 PPD, he had .714 PPD. It isn't a debatable topic, you were lurking more then him.

Who is the prime candidate if Helio flips town? You've been all over him since page 4. You have essentially been the one orchestrating his lynch.

lol? OMGUS without the vote? Now you are trying to make me look scummy and blame the last minute voting on me? How did I slow the game down during my V/LA? Basically the whole time I was V/LA was the name claiming, so I suppose you want me to apologize for not asking people to claim faster during that time? Not a chance.

I'm not upset. I'm asking you what your point was. Seacore pointed out that Helio hadn't contributed anything, you went 'look, Locke's even worse'. I'm wondering whether you have any reason for people to avoid looking at Helio. You hadn't really said anything against him until your vote post, and that's only because we're near deadline.

I don't think you get my point here. I'm not OMGUSing you. I hadn't posted much, I'm not denying that. I was busy at work for a lot of that time, but you can call it lurking. What I'm doing is trying to work out your motivation for directing attention away from him by picking out another lurker. Why is it a nice touch tying you to Helio? Do you think he's scum?

It seems like what your doing now is trying to give the impression your involved in the game and scum hunting, except your going after me, I'm already todays lynch as we don't have the time to reach a plurality, let alone a majority on anyone else. On the off chance your town, focus your attentions on someone who will still be in the game tommorow.

I don't care about a vote on me (not that you even voted me when you made the post) and I don't care that you called me a lurker. For some reason, you seem to think that this is about defending myself. When Seacore made that comment on Helio, something made you go and read me in iso and then point out that I'd posted less than Helio. I'm trying to work out why you did. Did you read Helio? Did you think Seacore was wrong to call him out on his lack of contributions?

I like to work out why players do certain things. It helps to work out if they're scum. Fine, you called me out on lurking. That doesn't explain why you didn't have a problem with Helio. You're right though, I'm not going to get anywhere like this as you still seem to be missing the point.

I can see what Kinetic means about Helio. I've been had by scum like this in a newbie game before because I was too eager to put scummy play down to newbieness.

Pushing something that turns out to be a mislynch does not make you a prime candidate. That's stupid.

I have had good reasons to want Heilo gone. He's absolutely useless and for a little while I thought he 'might' be scum. There's no bad logic there, no tricks, nothing that makes me scummy in the slightest for wanting him dead.

If I was in your shoes, I'd be more suspicious of him turning up scum now that I've 'jumped ship', maybe I was distancing but didn't actually want to kill him. That would have been an argument I could have respected. But you've assumed that I was pushing for town to lynch a useless town member and when it became even more likely that he would be lynched, I got nervous and backed off?

a) Why would scum want a useless town lynched?
b) If I did want that useless town lynched, as a scum, why would I back off when it became more likely?
c) Why do you assume that I'm scum worried about a town being lynched rather than a scum worried about a scum being lynched?

Also, we've got just over 24 hours left (if my clock is right, I'm in Australia, so I get confused sometimes).

Buttonmen is the most likely lynch for today.
The other two contenders are myself and Heilo
Many people including myself feel that Heilo is town, and while a policy lynch might be okay at this point, we're not going to get consensus for it in the last 24 hours.
Obviously I don't think I'm a great lynch, but I also don't think there's enough time to convince 4 more people of my guilt. (Assuming that xvart, locke and mina are currently happy to vote for me)

So we need three more votes. Xvart has said he'll move his vote, so we need two more.

After my debate with Buttonmen I feel that I'm biased on this issue. I'm pretty frustrated with his failure to address what I was driving at and right now I just want to lynch him because it seems like he's being deliberately stubborn and calling OMGUS instead of answering what I think is a pretty straightforward query.

Helio I got a newbie town read from, compounded by his no lynch vote, but I've made that mistake more than once in the past and let scum slide through to endgame. His play has been awful and any read I can get is always going to be compromised by that newbie feeling.

Seacore's change of direction on Helio seems a little strange. I agree that the no lynch vote looks like VI play, but I always thought Helio was playing like a newbie. Pushing a case on someone who's playing badly and then changing your mind because they're playing too badly doesn't make much sense to me. It's a too-anti-townie fallacy. I don't really think it makes him more likely to be town or scum, though.

I'm going to go ahead and:

Unvote; Vote: Heliograph

I think having the non-voting players make a choice is useful. Obviously, I'm willing to switch to Buttonmen if required.

And I'm fine with changing to Heilo. To summarise my thoughts
1)I think we've got a better chance of finding scum by going after Buttonmen, but at least he's contributing
2)I think we've got a better chance of making the game more enjoyable and flow faster by killing the anti-town that is Heilo, but I think we have a lesser chance of hitting scum.

1) wins because scum hunting is more important to me than policy lynching. Who knows, a day or two in, maybe Heilo gets replaced.

Also, for those who are still suspicious of my move from Heilo to Buttonmen,
his "vote:no lynch" finally triggered my, "oh I remember, he IS this useless" from the games I've shared with him.
