seriously nanook, you have played a werewolf game and you're not that dense. I hate the feigned idiocy defense.

That's a lynch.

Is anyone else as amused as I am that a claimed werewolf has managed to avoid being lynched two days in a row? :D

I don't like miller-esque claims.
And that's exactly why mods do.

Hmm... townies are called villagers in this game, not civilians.
You look more and more suspicious to me, expect my vote soon, unless you explain me that part about Pooky's story changing.
If you vote Nanook for other reasons, then that's perfectly acceptable. If you kill Nanook because of this one, then we're not doing the right thing.

I don't care what happens to Nanook, I am not buying the freakin' good wolf thing.

Unless Nanook turns out to be a bad wolf. Then I'm buying it.

But I think Dragyn_mage slipped, so I'm pretty confident that Nanook is going to turn up as a...oh...here comes another one...CITIZEN.

my Pm states that I am a Villager in the town of Garulphos with no abilities. I am also in love with Pooky. I don't see what's weird about this.

Final Day Five Vote Count
, powered by The Count-Counter 2000:

NanookTheWolf - 8 (draygn_mage, PookyTheMagicalBear, rolandofthewhite, BabyJesus, d_rouge, Dranko20, Bamboomancer, PeaceBringer)

PookyTheMagicalBear - 4 (Phoebus, Save the Dragons, milkman, Mastermind of Sin)

Not voting (2): Coron, NanookTheWolf.

The town comes together after the demise of the Magistrate, reverting to its previous state of suspicion. Accusations fly, and counter-accusations fly back. Finally the fingers settle down pointing at the resident with the wolfiest name of all.

He feigns ignorance, claiming to be a big-city citizen, but the small-town group doesn't buy it. As he stands on the gallows waiting to be lynched, the stress shows in a guttural
"Bah!
, and his kicking body soon shows signs of lycanthropy in its death throes.

NanookTheWolf, who was actually a
Were
wolf, was lynched Day Five.

It is now Night Six; choices are due Wednesday, August 24th, at noon.

Between the pending move of the site and looking for a replacement or two, I'm going to hold off dawn for right now.

Day Six will open either Friday or Monday
, depending on what jeep does.

After an extraordinarily long night, you drag yourselves out of bed to blink blearily in the morning light. Counting heads, you notice 13 alive... an unlucky number? Not really, when you consider that 13 of you went to bed last night.

No one has died. Werebear has replaced the absent milkman.

It is now Day Six; with thirteen of you around, it will take seven votes to cause a lynch.

Just a feeling given the info of Nanook being wolf....reading back through it, he dropped a vote casually onto Pooky like Nanook did. and never reacted, makes me wonder if the goal all along of the wolves yesterday was to try and get Pooky lynched, and he was just going along with the plan.

Having not had time to reread the thread fully, I did not see what was fueling the Nanook bandwagon, and I've run across games with Pooky before where he's said he was a member of the scum party. (see OO2 for an example off the top of my head; Pooky made a list of possible roles and listed himself as scum, then died a few days later and turned up scum) I just don't like those sort of claims out of Pooky. They reek of scumminess. However, the fact that Nanook was going after Pooky makes me relatively sure he's innocent, or at least not working with Nanook. No idea who else would be a possible candidate, though, seeing as I haven't reread yet.

I don't think there's two teams of wolves, given the number of deaths each night. I think we should start looking for scum among the people who were on the bandwagon on Pooky yesterday.

Just grabbing a snapshot of the votecount before the Nanook train overtook Pooky's. I found it convenient that it was at this point that MOS dropped off his vote on Pooky, as if to deflect from the rising Nanook train. If someone has more evidence though, I'm all for it.

Did the wolves try to kill anyone last night??

I thought for sure I was a goner, but maybe they forgot to turn in their choice? I'm not one to look a gift horse in the mouth, but it seems weird to me.

We seem to have a doctor/blocker?

Suppose it's too early to reveal, but if the person who was protected last night gets close to lynch, please speak out.

This is tiring.

I wasn't too convinced Wolfie was evil but he was. I might just play follow the leader for a while.
I STILL don't like the fact that Pooky is alive. Killing him is like a dual kill for the Wolves.
I wonder if he can't kill but still counts towards Wolf numbers and has draygn as a balanced dead weight...

I don't know anything.
If they did, it's up to the doctor to reveal that.
In which case, we have three confirmed innocents. No?

Then we'd come back to Dranko our "naive cop" who's still alive.
One would think that since he isn't useful, scum might go after him to avoid a situation like this where they potentially miss a kill.

Logically, it would not make sense for the wolves to just *not* kill anyone, so it would follow that we have a blocker or a doc alive. Are we asking for a blocker to come forward and state who they targeted?

So you mean they should keep on not killing?
Most mods follow three day no lynch/no kill = game over.

I don't like mage's latest statement.

explain it. why would you even suggest that wolves would not kill? how is it in their best interests?

to keep YOU interested -
vote: mage
and I don't care what you've claimed.
