Interesting turn of events; however, I think we should stay the course on TheButtonmen.
I also think it is way too early to be accusing people of being the shadow/double voter. Any attempt to do so has no bearing on reality other than creating misinformation or false cases being built.
With that said, and with the deadline looming, I'm switching my vote now.
Unvote: Seacore
Vote: TheButtonmen
Button, you are now at L-1. Time to claim.

Buttonmen, I pointed this out, but did not phrase it in the form of a question. Formally, why would you place a random vote on Locke when you had an actual suspicion, as shown by the FoS on Kinetic?TheButtonmen wrote:If so heres my response: I didn't respond cause thats not a case, pointing out I voted for a lurker and FoS'ed Kintetic isn't even anaylsis; in conclusion lolololol @ the case. Hope that helps.

While I agree with Kinetic that there's no way to know whether the invisi-vote comes from town or scum, I think it's more likely to come from town. That is, I've rarely seen double-votes being a scum power. Therefore, I see no reason that Buttonmen is any more (or less) likely to be town due to the invisi-vote.
I also agree that the double-voter should not claim.

I'm still for lynching Buttonmen. But if Helio doesn't lynched, he needs a right vigging.Yes, my fake claim is Innocent Aligned with the Town win condition as per the mod's first post.-

Arya sculks.
Because I didn't think he was scum and I prefer a lurker vote to voting someone whos just raised my suspcions. Why do you think FoS trumps a Vote?Routine day with a dirt cheap brush

Except that this power seems to be the shadow vote power that I used in WoT and that I know Faraday is familiar with. If that's the case I usually gave such an ability to scum or neutrals over town, but then again I did give it to town on occasion as well, so it could go either way. While I agree with Kinetic that there's no way to know whether the invisi-vote comes from town or scum, I think it's more likely to come from town. What does it mean that you FoSed him (which stands for Finger of Suspicion) but didn't think he's scum. How is that not a direct contradiction?TheButtonmen wrote:Because I didn't think he was scum and I prefer a lurker vote to voting someone whos just raised my suspcions. FoS is a step below voting, its for people you find suspcious but not outright scummy. I found it odd that he would go for a mass claim at that time, but it wasn't enough that I wanted to vote him.

And yet you chose someone at random to vote for. How is this not contradictory?TheButtonmen wrote:FoS is a step below voting, its for people you find suspcious but not outright scummy. So do you believe claim?[/quote]Kinetic wrote:ok... lynch helio now gogo?
I never said that, but I'd prefer to see what some of his "results" are before lynching him.
He's a claimed cop, either he is going to die or he is going to lie. I'd prefer if we're set on lynching him waiting until he has some results out though.-

Not answering that sorry, they (the scum) want to know more about how it works they can continually RB me or NK me.xvart wrote:And what's the limiting factor?

Yes, thats the point. As it stands they need to RB or NK me, if I go explaining in detail how exactly I work then they may be able to plan around it.Seacore wrote:They will already be able to RB or NK you, so that's not much of an excuse.Routine day with a dirt cheap brush

I don't want to know anything but this: Does your "special" thing effect the alignment data you receive? (i.e. is it a sanity or something like that, something that would prevent you from getting a "true" result).TheButtonmen wrote:

Other than that I don't want you to reveal your "catches" and I'd prefer to question you more fully after you get some results.
