Chaos is a great word for this game so far. Hopefully I cam breathe some sort of life into it.
Here's what I think about the players so far:
Bio Hazard: Tunnelling hard on MMM. And the one time he breaks away and makes a legitimate cause on mindgamer (one which I thought had more worth than anything he said about MMM) he goes right back and tunnels. Slightly scummy read.
chauchau: Town read. Took ythan's joke a little too seriously, but that's not too bad.
evilsnail: Neutral read, not a lot to go off of, but he does seem to be bandwagoning a bit and not really scumhunting.
farside: town read. nothing suspicious IMO...yet!
ksun: lurking it up, and even defended active lurking like he knew he would be doing it this game. Neutral read, I guess.
Mindgamer: Scummy read - BH's case on him had merit. Why did you stop thinking there was scum on the MMM wagon?
MMM: OMGUS-tunnelling right back onto BH. Slightly scummy read.
ortolan: Neutral. Not a lot of posts and no scumhunting efforts.
RayFrost: Scummy read. Freaked out a little about a multitude of RVS votes (which I think should not be taken seriously) and never did much other than argue with Ythan. My gut is just sensing something fishy here.
Semi: slightly town read, I agree with a lot of things he's saying. I think the heat Ythan gave him was somewhat undeserved.
Ythan: Slightly scummy read. It's obviously not fair to do what he did (use meta from an ongoing game) and some of his cases were weak.
So that's that, I'm going tovote: mindgamer. for reasons stated above.-

I've been reading, and I really have absolutely no idea what Ythan was doing. I think he needs to get off his non-existent high horse, but that's just me.
I can definitely get scum vibes from both mindgamer and MMM, and I might want to change my vote, but for now I'm just gonna...
Vote: Myterious Mystery Man
Just as a place holder if I change my mind.-

@ Bio Hazard: That's not a strawman. A strawman is a misrepresentation of someone's arguments to provide an inadequate defence. Like how you said that it's illogical to scumhunt. Also, I didn't see RVS as over, my vote was not to be taken that seriously at first. I voted because you were the only lead I had. Interesting how your vote is acceptable but mine isn't.
And 'Nick', get out of here, moron. YOU ARE NOT IN THIS GAME!Also known as: cheater_1-

Well, welcome to the game, 'Nick.' (If that's even your real name! )
Your vote on Biohazard is pretty much completely OMGUS (which would be fine if you just admitted it, but you're acting like it isn't, which is weird). That was pretty much the basis of my initial suspicions, though the slip farside pointed out is also pretty bad.Mysterious Mystery Man wrote:@evilsnail: I'm not even close to being lynched. Why exactly do you find me scummy?-

Statements like 'I know I'm good, but don't expect me to catch all the scum so soon!' are usually made by scum, not town.Chauchaudotcom
How in the world is this a strong scum tell?
MMM's wagon had 3½ votes, RayFrost's 3 including mine. Obviously I'm not going to critisize my own vote.Farside22
Mindgamer: Both MMM and rayfrost has the same number of votes why are you commenting just about MMM wagon?
Because the wagon growed so quickly.Bio Hazard
He criticizes the MMM wagon and calls someone on it scum, while not really saying why.
Nope, because I believe I have a good reason for my vote.Bio Hazard
It's also hypocritical that you said this and then threw down the third vote in a quickly growing Ythan wagon.
I did? Not at all, sir. Could you point me to the post where you got this impression?Deer

Ythan is not on said wagon. Do you suspect him/nick over RF? BH? farside? If not, then why are you voting him?-

Mindgamer randomly critizing the MMM 'wagon' was pretty...weird. He just said "Oh, I think its scummy" and nothing else. I just thought that was really weird.
MMM has been kind of avoiding any kind of question or not going deep into it, when the 'wagon' started he revenge voted instead of trying to defend himself, and he seems to know more than he should. I would understand if the game started with a Night Phase, I would think it was a possibility he was a cop, but right now? No.-

I didn't 'freak out' over a multitude of random votes.
And how, exactly, have I not done much other than argue with ythan? For one, I've argued with MMM as well, stating that he's scummy.
I would also like to know how me 'freaking out' over something you think should not be taken seriously is scummy.
I would also like to know how you can go 'reasons' and then go 'my gut isjust sensing something fishy' as if you had no idea, but you just had a feeling.don't you feel silly now?-

Policy Lynching is only okay when it's a game with Ythan in it. >.> But on a serious note, I like the idea of policy lynching, because if it comes down to a decision end-game then there should be no bias feelings.farside22 wrote:This games seems to be stalling with very little going on.
Question time
What is your belief on policy lynching?
Do you think scum or town lurk more and why?
How active would you say you are in a typical mafia game?
1) I think scum use it more then town. There are some games I can see why a policy lynch is neccessary but they are in larger games.
2) I would say actively lurking is a scum trait. If a person is lurking it could be for many reasons and I see both alignments lurker.
3) I'm so active it hurts. Weekends I dont' post as much but during the work week you will see me here lots.
Scum lurk, town get bored, theres no comparison IMO.

No it was p.1 everything there is basically null. But I do find it alarming that you're pushing so hard for it.Bio Hazard wrote:
I disagree.farside22 wrote:This games seems to be stalling with very little going on.
Does anyone besides me not like MMM's last post?
Same here, I understand this. But I must admit, lying is never good for the game so IGMEOY.RayFrost wrote:
Then you gotta lynch me.Ythan wrote:I think you're telling the truth in one and that this is an obvious lie to cover up which.
Good to know that I can say two diff things as town and get caught out on it. :/
srsly, my opinion of my play varies. some days I think I'm uber 1337 superstar invincible jackshit scumhunter / mafioso extraordinaire
other days I think I'm just bad.
btw, obviously ksun wasn't lurking since I replaced him so any offense on that is null lolWins/Losses - 99/15

I have yet to see an explanation from anyone (particularly deer, MMM, you) about why this is a scumtell.-

I disagree with this reasoning. Just because it is page one does not make things null.McGriddle wrote:No it was p.1 everything there is basically null. But I do find it alarming that you're pushing so hard for it.
Why did you feel the need to point this out?McGriddle wrote:btw, obviously ksun wasn't lurking since I replaced him so any offense on that is null lolI'm such a good lover because I practice a lot on my own.-

1. That's fine, you can disagree, but RVing is NOT a scum tell no matter how you look at it. It will always be because of chance instead of evidence. Of course if they write "OMG guizz I am so cited to play wif muh scumm pawtnuh" sure, that is a case where you can come up positive on something. But saying they are scummy because their RV not being that great of reasoning is just stupid as no RV has reason. That's what makes it RV.semioldguy wrote:

2. I pointed it out because it was in a tell about ksun that he was lurking. So I thought I would defend him (myself). Why did you feel the need to question this without reading the whole thread?Wins/Losses - 99/15
