I would very much advise not discussing the prevailing theory and what not, we have an edge on the scum right now because we've hit the last like 5 lynches and they've been blasting each other at night, giving the edge back by getting modkilled from claimhinting just isn't worth it.

Pooky - perversely, as long as Blackberry & Fritzler keep their mouth shut, we (the rest of us) can talk about the prevailing theory regarding their roles all day long.

They

just can't do anything to confirm when/if we get it right (like mith couldn't even when we 'guessed' the false role that he was hinting at).

My thought was that Adam & Wensleydale are the remainder of the Locus/DarkLight140/DoomCow (or whoever they are, these days) masons, and Fritz & BB *may* be God & the Metatron. Are there any other potential mason groups left that might be pro-town? Fuldu II had a good grasp on this yesterday, where's he at??

1) It was not forbidden to claim masons up until now.
2) They claimed masons long ago.
3) They are not part of THEM, because we know who claimed mason with dead THEM.
4) The prevailing theory was that they are heaven people, due to the lack of two horsepersons or two devils, but with the GBH story this has changed and there is Sister Mary and the Delivery Man, too. They both suggested that heaven might be on the town side.
5) I feel less inclined to follow the reasonings of people who don't know who claimed what general ability.
6) I have no idea what thumper means.

Presumably, mason groups are an exception to this rule (ie, it breaks immediately if masons can talk about their fellow mason's rule is, so mason presumably must hold fellow mason roles as closely as their own), but I thought that speculation on roles you had no knowledge of was always fine?

If the prevailing theory is that they are heaven people, I think they're scum trying to pull the same trick WB, myself, and Thoth tried (unsuccessfully; damn the mod for making all scum affilation punctuation different from mason punctuation; we were so close, and WB for going idle!) in Asterix mafia.

Hmm, I agree that Fritzler is suspicious, but mneme/Seol?'s post is very strange, voting Fritzler for a reason that's existed for a long time. Maybe Pooky can tell us whether one of them is innocent, or tell us why he didn't investigate one of them.

I just reread Fritzler's posts and the mason claim is the only reason I stopped voting his partner ('s predecessor). We are still 13 and can wait another day for one of them investigated/one of them night-killed/a role or death type revealed which makes a good or bad remaining mason group extremely unlikely.

I'd prefer to go with Electra today. Lynching a suspicious lurker at this point is good for the game.

I'm still here, though I was away briefly and have fallen behind in a number of games and am slowly working on catching back up. I won't comment on the prevailing theories about who I am, except to point out to mneme that Dog was Locus Cosecant and is dead. I said repeatedly yesterday that I'm unconvinced that Fritzler and Blackberry are pro-town, even if they're God and Metatron, but since our other groups seem to be down to single players and they are admitting to being linked, I'm at least confident that they aren't members of the known scum, so I'm willing to give them a pass for the time being. We should keep in mind, though, that even if we were to lynch one of them, we wouldn't necessarily know whether they were pro-town or not. The death blurbs have been varying degrees of informative in that regard.

I don't see any reason that Pooky shouldn't give his results at this point. Scum have enough potential targets to go for that it isn't like giving them one more is going to be such a tragedy.

I think going after the lurkers makes the most sense, and while I'd have picked SubtleTactix myself, I have no problem with an Electra lynch. But I'd like to have Pooky reveal his innocent first, so no vote.

Electra not only hasn't posted in this game since April 6th, that was her last post anywhere. Rather than try to chase yet another replacement, I think there's a fair chance she's either War or one of the Other Horsemen.
