Welcome back King David. When you get a chance tomorrow I'd love if you would answer my questions along with addressing anything else you see.

@Pulindar: Thx for the wiki
@FC: My vote is because I feel that you are the most suspicious so far with your finger pointing act.

I'd personally say that withholding votes and suspicions until pressured is more scummy than putting all that on the table, but I'll leave the others to judge that.

Not really. A mafia would want a lynch to happen as soon as possible. They wouldn't be stupid about voting, but they wouldn't withhold their vote.

I got myself in another mafia game, so i may post less. But, with the activity of this game that probably wont happen. Just to let you know though.

Anyway,
Unvote
, i dont think i need to keep my random vote in this stage of the day.

And Gandalf, what you're saying now that mafias do ins't what you wanted just a couple of posts earlier?

Although Slaine Hayes picked up his prod, I will probably replace him soon if he continues to refuse to post anyway.

ReaperCharlie replaces danny135.

Edit: Sorry. I believe ReaperCharlie is already alive in one newbie game, and not allowed to play in another. :(

Guess I will start off with my experience. I've played 2 mafia games and co-modded one on another site so I know a bit about this game. All the games I've played were 3-4 days per phase so this might be a little weird for me. Anyone have any questions for me?

FoS Slaine

FoS FC

I have my reasons but I will keep them a secret for now as they aren't even really worth discussing at this point.

Questions

1.) Did you have any inkling that Gandalf was merely sheeping your random vote reason?
I have put an FoS on him simply because he "sheeped" my vote. However, after thinking some about it, I am willing to write it off as a null tell. It has done well to increase discussion, but I think that it really was not that big of an issue. I will be looking into those who latched onto it.
Pul wrote:2.) If so do you find sheeping a RV as scummy?
As I said, after thinking about it, no. It is, after all, random. Someone is bound to vote the same person as someone else in the RVS.
Pul wrote:3.) More or less scummy than sheeping an argument later?
Less. Sheeping an RV is never as scummy as sheeping a real vote/case later. While it is perfectly fine to agree with someone else, everyone should do their own work and not just latch onto someone else's suspicion. To add to that, I think that the people who did go crazy about it should be looked at since it really was not as big of a deal as it has been made out to be.
Pul wrote:4.) Who are your current main suspects?
Right now? Well, I'm answering your questions before I read through the thread so I'll get to this once I'm done going back through everything.
Pul wrote:5.) Do you feel you should be more active by this point?
Now that I'm back from V/LA I expect to post at least once every other day, if not every day.
Pul wrote:6.) Do you think anyone is trying to avoid conversation?
I have not noticed it, but I will keep in mind to check on it.
Pul wrote:7.) Have you noticed the breadcrumbing?
I have not noticed any breadcrumbing at this point, but of course it's a good idea to keep an eye out for it.

jelly wrote:Guys you can trust me. My title is townperson.
No... I can't trust you. And I really hope no one feels that they can.
jelly wrote:I have my reasons but I will keep them a secret for now as they aren't even really worth discussing at this point.
On the contrary, if you have suspicions, please share them. We need discussion to continue so by withholding information, you're not helping anyone.

I have one: What prompted you to post that last post about "you can trust me"?
jelly wrote:It sounded the way I wanted it to sound but you are being awfully suspicious for thinking others are suspicious.

It sounded like a not needed fluff post to me. This game feels pretty dead, because of all replacements and little action. How about we all sort of did the same like Pulindar did and judge everyone else in the game so far. That way we get all cases in the open and we can respond to that after.

BTW, I'd like to add that according to the mod, Slaine has picked up his prod but hasn't posted. Sometime's that's a scum tactic (don't post but wait and watch things go on around you). Other times it's because of real life. I think that it's almost vote worthy.

Anyway, as for the question earlier about whether or not having a lot of replacements is usual for a newbie game, my answer is yes. Newbie games are composed of mostly, well, newbies. Many newbies will sign up for a game and then leave and forget about the site. So when the game starts, they will need to be replaced. Other newbies will not be ready for the level of play we have here at MS, and will just get burnt out and not post. Others will forget about the game and won't be able to post.

And of course there are other reasons, but those are some of the main ones off the top of my head.

Anyway, as for FC's suggestion, I think it wouldn't hurt for everyone to do a little analysis. The thing we want to be careful about is that we don't all post posts as long as Pulindar's, simply because they sort of clutter the thread. It's better to break it up and do a little at a time. Not only does this make it more bearable to read the thread, but it also allows discussion as you go instead of just being hit with one gigantic post.

I posted that because no one was on to talk and I was bored. You will notice that I make a lot of sarcastics posts(or probably not, since nobody ever picks up on them). But just for the sake of moving the game along I will post all my suspicions in the next post.
