Im not asking for you to lynch someone else, im asking for you to unvote. I have my reasons for wanting to wait a bit. People who have played with me know that I dont pull stuff like this with no basis, there are at least two very specific things that need to occur before we lynch. Neither of them has.

I approve of others double-checking my exact numbers, but Fishy is not particularly close to a lynch right now.

I get 526 by chronopie as being scummy. Third party speculation is off, because "his scumbuddies wouldn't let him" is not a good reason (it's not like they are dictating his every move). I get wanting to vote fishy. Don't get not reading the claim, and really don't get not mentioning chronopies claim.

Where did Chronopie claim? I missed that.

As for why I don't need to read a claim that is 'not town' is because it's really not that difficult to take a scum role or a 3rd party role and only claim parts of it so it sounds town or non threatening 3rd party, especially in a game like this. Fishy's behavior has already shown that he's in this for him, not the town, so why even bother trying to figure out exactly what his alignment is? It's not town, so it needs to be lynched.

For example, what if someone claims that they win if they name the first two lynch targets. That sounds non threatening. But what if they're actually a SK who gets to kill if they name the lynch target correct? You can come up with a non threatening sounding claim for virtually anything.

As for Fishythefish, lynching him is probably in our best interests (either he or farside22 is going today, and since Fishythefish admitted not being town-aligned, the scales are tilted against his favor), but I want to play LlamaFluff's waiting game. I believe I've seen stupid town lose. Heck, the other game of zoraster's I've played might be a good example.

My win condition is not the same as the town's. However, on almost every issue, it may as well be. The process of me claiming hugely emphasises the other bits - because it's in my interests to keep information from the town, and in particular my opponents. Claiming is actually the only time I was likely to do anything other than be protown all game.

There are good reasons to lynch me. But withholding information is a bad one.

What a bizarre sequence of events that was, I think I agree with charter that there’s probably no reason to aid Fishy at this point by stringing things out. The best case scenario is he’s being completely truthful but he’s already admitted to being willfully deceptive and farside apparently has a report that contradicts his statements. But given that Fishy is completely out for himself there’s no reason to assume he has anything to help the town with other than he claims it to be so and why wouldn’t he claim that.

Too bad DGB isn’t a davig because if she was she should’ve killed Nicodemus pages ago for his completely blatant rolefishing. The last time I saw someone do it that obviously was when I was scum and a townie had claimed a guilty on me, absolutely horrendous and he needs to find himself a quick death.

Eh, I can see why Fishy needs to die today but I don't see any harm on giving him 24 hours and let him put out a suspicions post in case he's for the most part telling the truth. I'm gonna hold off on the scumlist until after Fishy flips since it'll pretty different depending on whether he flips other or mafia.
