Giving Fishy time IS BAD. You know he isn't town, what if he needs 24 hours in order to do something to help his scumbuddies? Seriously, all you're doing by giving him time is allowing the opportunity for something destructive to happen.

Of course he's going to say 'give me time, you won't be sorry', that's all he can do at this point.

I realize I'm kind of going over the top on this, but there's only like two things I hate more than caught scum being able to scheme.

Iiiiiiii don't really see what he would do to help his scumbuddies when he's still dying either way, if he flips mafia we know that his suspicions are tainted with the knowledge that he was getting lynched anyway and are pretty much all WIFOM, if you want to convince me give me an example or two of "something destructive" that might happen if we don't lynch him right away.

Having played scum in this format, the first quicklynch had us scrambling. But we managed it just fine and even threw in some things about quicklynching to stop scum actions iirc. It was set up so that any one of the scum could submit orders for everyone (as long as they didn't contradict orders sent by the others).

Given that llama had something to take care of that needed time, I think it's more likely that fishy is some sort of neutral role, and the action is not likely to be bad for town--I don't see why he'd have something like that. It's probably just some sort of pointless "only affects the playing for points crowd" but whatever, I just want to see what it is.

farside-I've actually only noticed two non-posters today I think, and the only worrying one IMO is Shotty.
d3x-I can get aboard a they're planning out a kill train of thought there, and maybe they'll hit another other a la Xvart if fishy is mafia and they have less time to think it through.

I had been thinking that if Fishythefish had been able to tell if the person he transmitted to was town (via points or what-not) then he might have been worth keeping around for an extra day to verify popsofctown's alignment (or someone else) and then killing tomorrow. Apparently he's not useful for that though. Also, apparently he's leaving out multiple details if his current claim is true. I'm not sure how many actions I expect him to have but if he had one for last night and thinks that he can accomplish more today before getting lynched it's certainly more than I would have guessed.

I wouldn't be hugely shocked if he was telling some of the truth with his claim but sadly, given how xvart flipped, it seems unlikely that we'll know much until after the game is over about what can do. Perhaps I'm wrong and there's something about how xvart was killed that's kept that information on the lesser side but I don't see how talked to death would be likely to make that the case.

If people want to give him time I doubt there's much chance that it'll do that much harm but I don't think that he's sharing enough to be worth keeping around for the time he's asking for.

Yep. Even the RB makes sense if you think about it from a bus varient. Fishy targets townie X with "pro town action". Mafia targets townie X with roleblock. driver targets townie X and RC (decent ammount read as scummy). RC gets visitors, farside sees fishy target RC and RC gets roleblocked.

Seriously people, let fishy deliver what he says he has coming. We lynch him after that, or after he takes too much time.

Semi-caught-up enough to say I believe Fishy's claim. Seems too detailed to be fabricated. It's possible he's anti-town Other, I guess, but I doubt he's scum. We'd have to think scum are dumb not to have submitted whatever night actions they have by now so I see no harm in waiting to hear what Fish has to say.

I'd voted Llama because I hadn't seen my Night-action result yet, and I wanted to know why llama had me on his 'to be shot' list.

Once I checked my investigation, I changed where my vote lay. Then Fishy claimed, so I unvoted.

Now farside has Fishy visiting coyote, while Fishy had stated that they hadn't used their their one-shot yet, and RC was roleblocked. Fishy now claims that RC was driven, and doesn't want to reveal who was the other half of the bus.

If fishy doesn't fess up, I'm going to vote towards Lynching the Liar.

@Chronopie, how often do you not check the results of your night actions before you start posting and voting in a thread on a given day? That's not behavior I expect of anyone offhand. Even if that is what you did you didn't change your vote to Fishythefish. You said he wasn't town with no change in a vote. Your new vote didn't come until after DrippingGoofball had cast her vote. Why did you wait that extra time?
