He FOSed and voted me, promised further insights, gave no further insights, voted Goat because Goat apologized about something (seriously?), and skirted around the periphery of the game for a number of posts afterward. Upon reread he didn't look quite as scummy, though, and his latest post looks pretty thoughtful.

Please, for my sanity which is slowly but surely slipping away, EXPLAIN TO ME HOW ANY OF THEM HAVE MADE USEFUL POSTS.

If you really have to ask this question there's no way in hell you are carefully reading the game with the intention of finding scum.

Yep, my clarity is a linear function of my available time.

As for harping on the word "apologies," that goes with one of the methods I've always used to scumhunt. Making sure your image to the town is a clean one seems to be a natural scum instinct. Town players rarely have to worry about that; their scumhunting stands as their image.

I'm aware it's probably an outdated view of the game. I don't use it much past D1, when one reason is usually as good as another.
