A few of you are overreacting a bit too much, especially CryMeARiver, Timeater, and Andrius. Less fully caps word, more content posts.

Question to everyone: Should we post which we voted for or not and why?

I disagree with this. I rather keep this a surprise so we don't ruin it. But seriously, discussing gameplay mechanics isn't really going to get us much results. I saw the argument and it hasn't really been too productive.

Do you have any town reads yet?

Not yet. Will change as the game goes on.

Do you enjoy short walks on the beach?
Why are you dubious and does that make me expect you to be scummy?
Why do you eat Tim and then deny him the respect of admitting it?

CryMeARiver, three out of the four questions you asked here contribute nothing to the game. Hell, the last two made absolutely no sense and the last question sounds like an attempt to hide RVS in a question, which does not fool me.

Now I'd like to ask you people a question. Are you getting any sort of scummy reads on anyone?

I have a slightly scummy read on CryMeARiver already.

And it's not because of those mostly unproductive questions. It's because you're the main force of this discussion that will not benefit us in the long run. RVS fine, even good when ulitized well, but this discussion is going to get nowhere pretty quick.

Explain why SlySly is slightly scummy to you. So far, out of all of the no reads/null reads/scum reads I have, he's the closest to a town read.

I sent 1, thinking that is who I was voting for to be lynched. So I don't know if that person is now having my vote considered to be the (Macho/Normal) Cop or the (Neutered/Normal) Doc.

I sent in my choice for roles to enter the game along with one name of which I thought was being sent for a lynch.

Try to follow that and see what you get out of it.

A town player would want a cop that is able to be protected by a doctor no matter what. No one knows what a "Macho Cop" entices except that it can't be protected by a doc. I don't see why ANY town would vote 1 unless they just weren't thinking. Therefore, SlySly voting 1 is rather scummy to me. Just realized my vote wasn't on him anymore

Think about it. A cop would be scared to come out with a guilty, because what if a doc can't protect him and he just dies? I don't see why someone would vote 1. Hence, obviously, I voted 2.

Too bad the cop in second choice currently can't be protected either. I assumed that another cop might come into play (like a role cop or something), so I picked 1 so that if that does happen, they can end up being protected.

Luckily, they seem to stop now. However, look back at the earlier posts and you'll see that Timeater, Andrius, and CryMeARiver were overreacting a little, especially since most of there earlier posts consisted of multiple full caps words that wasn't really necessary.

The way I read the Role Choices:

#1: Cop that cannot be Doc protected, Normal Doc
#2: Normal Cop, Doc that cannot protect Cops.

Either way, atm, the cop cannot claim w/out Dying. If we later have another doc choice, the new doc may be able to protect cops, so a normal cop is more beneficial to us.

#1 prevents the cop from ever being safe, so cannot claim, ever, without feeling the NK that night. (unless we get other protective roles i.e. bodyguard).

#2 is a cop that isn't safe, until we get another protective role, but only until then.

So sue me for trying to make the game more enjoyable.

And yeah, PR choice #1 lets the Doc protect other potential Cops, while choice #2 gives us a Doc that cannot protect any cops.

Does anyone finds it weird that CryMeARiver dropped his case against SlySly when SlySly rebutted him? He even changed his vote to Andrius, who hasn't really been that scummy (Just a bit overreactive, but yeah, we need to move one from that argument, unless mb53 asks for evidence of how Andrius, CryMeARiver, and Timeater were being a little bit overreactive).

I dropped it because I completely misinterpreted EVERYTHING from what the mod said to what Sly said. So I went back to my RV that I was comfortable with and a bandwagon to start of a game never hurt anyone and always gets info from the town.

@CMAR: I might have been a little one sided in my analysis, but I value the info a cop can give us, over an inhibited doc. So I voted for a normal cop over a normal doc. Although atm the cop is unprotectable either way the vote went.

besides, if/when we have another doc PR option, I'd rather a protectable cop.
