It has everything to do with that. I think your dream was as legit as any other we've heard so far.SpyreX wrote:Why is SV in your new alliance? Does, in fact, my dream have anything to do with that?
But look: You were playing in a pro-town way Day 1, and lots of good discussion was had. But once you found out that night that you were being recruited as a werewolf, your play switched as well, and you wanted the day to go as fast as possible. Getting rid of ani was just as good for your werewolf group as it was for the town, so there's no ulterior motive for your enthusiasm for the quicklynch. Likewise with Merk; he wanted to kill him as well. It would have helped ANY of us (wolf, vamp, AND town) with our win condition to lynch ani, so it made sense. Also we were all still in the first alliance, so it made twice as much sense.
But it's still anti-town to let a day pass without people weighing in on the situation(s) at hand.
Either way, it's quite fortuitous really, you rushing the animorpher lynch (and by association, Day 2 itself), before Dry-fit had a chance to come out with his dream. This is why it was good:
1. You would not have rushed the day otherwise, and ani might not have been lynched due to second-guessing.
2. Not having been able to post before Day 2 ended lends all themorecredibility to Dry-fit's claim, because there's no way he'd pull something out of his arse on Day 3 and be like "Oh yeah, forgot to say this earlier". There's no way. Dry-fit's result is legit.
3. Your claim is great, and I believe that it was true up until the point where you got recruited. But you likely just doctored your choice of night actions in your claim, which would have been easy enough. Why? to make it seem like you'd 'saved' yourself night 1, which would nullify Dry-fit's results. Good move, but I still don't buy it.
And anyway, lynching you is pro-town(andbecauseit is the only action that will give us complete claritysoonerrather than later)whether both day 1 dreams were legit or not. And if so, we have a standard to measure all subsequent dreams. I still believe that they are all correct.
And knowing that ~2 dreams are had each night, would it not benefit the town to know if we can depend on them at all? Otherwise, that is just a useless mechanic that we are wasting. We need to know whether we can trust these dreams or not.

Well, I got post-ninja'd by Kise's 1049. And yes, Kise, you are correct: it'd be easy for scum to switch dreams they had about their own teammates to read 'town' when they report it. This could likely be what happened with SpyreX and SV, I'll have to think more about that.
I don't think MME is a wolfman though. I get those vibes a bit, but he's making enough sense to make himself appear town enough. Spyre may just be trying to buddy with him because it's the best chance of saving himself from lynching. Luckily, it doesn't seem to be working.
I will also point out that MME's reasons for trying to stop the Spyrescum wagon are similar to mine for Unvoting animorpher yesterday, but they are not quite the same. I was perfectly willing to lynch animorpher, and obviously we knew it was gonna happen, what with that mod f^^^up where he didn't report Fate's death, and Chrono admitted to it. But whilst I was only trying tostall for more discussion time, it appears that My Milked Eek is trying to actually stop the Spyrex wagonin favor of another wagon.
In response: Sorry, it ain't happenin' buddy. Get on the train or get left behind.Show"Take me to Pleasure Town!" "Look, the most Glorious Rainbow Ever!" "Do me on it!" -

I think I can believe Spy for now. His claim and night one action make sense given how at the end of day one he basically asked scum to kill him. I suppose it could be a mod safeclaim, but I think crypto is the play for today. If Spyrex is telling the truth, at least we get another use of his ability.

Spyre's role claim is obviously a convenient one given that it prevents him from getting converted into a werewolf. But I don't see how it's a scum tell. If Dry-fit is telling the truth, though, then it sounds to me like he was converted. I don't think "infected" would be the flavor if he prevented himself from being targeted/infected.-

What's up with everyone saying dreams are only accurate 50% of the time? So far, they've been 100% right.
Also, @SpyreX:
This is blatantly false. You said:SpyreX wrote:Really? Really? Yes, I am omgusing Deer in bizarro world where I've been all over his ass since the getgo.
Then, once I voiced my opinions against my alliance, you turned against me.SpyreX wrote:I absolutely can't make up my mind about Deer. He makes me itch in that bad way but it doesn't have the BITE I need.
Your claim is a little too convenient, IMHO, especially with Dry-fit's dream.
But a Spyre lynch today both gives us input on the reliability of the dreams and hopefully, another lynched scum.
Kise's DNA business is...weird. He implies it's role-based, so I'm willing to believe it too for now. Either one of them can die today, but I'd prefer to see Spyre first.
And I like the new alliance.-

Just so we're clear in 1053:
1.) Reaper believes I am a werewolf since day 2.
2.) Reaper STILL BELIEVES my dream.
3.) Reaper believes my claim but says I would doctor the results.
So, in essence I'm scum since day 2 but everything I'm saying is the truth. Just want that to sink in.
And, even more important lets look at this:
This is from this guy:deer wrote:And I like the new alliance.
Thats not even all of them. The one thing this game by volume Deer has talked about the most is the alliance and how its cruise control for a scum win. Also, I find it strange that Merk keeps talking about SpyreX's "alliance" in almost every post. Like he's eager to be considered town and wants to remind everyone that he is. Something's off about that. That's not what I'm saying. In your game, you said yourself you followed "confirmed-town Spyre" - you realize here, Spyre is not confirmed town. If Spyre ends up being scum, we lose this game. That type of thinking is dangerous. In all seriousness, though, I like Spyre's killing list, although it's basically entirely comprised of lurkers. I gotta think there's at least one non-lurking scum in this game, and he's either Spyre or part of SpyreX's alliance.I just didn't want people thinking that your alliance was composed of all townies, since that's probably not true. Don't see how that's useless. If spyrex is scum, he leads this alliance to an endgame where you guys eventually have to figure out who to lynch among yourselves. You're so sure that he's town (because he has "no motivation for doing this") that you let him win in LyLo. How do you not see how that situation is dangerous? How do you not see that situation as a possibility?Well, I just don't see how it's such a huge scumtell to be somewhat anti-alliance when it comes to endgame possibilites.
You (and this is to other alliancers as well) really think there's nobody out there scummier than me?
Hmm, what changed?
Seriously. And no one calls him out on it. Awesome.-

Alright.
We have two different leads that need to be followed up on, but we can only do one at a time.
With multiple dreams, I think we're better off following the more substantial path.
Unvote, Vote: Crypto.
If Crypto flips town, Kise is a liar. If SpyreX flips town, it doesn't give us anyone to go after.

Reck, we're lynching Spyrex today instead. Dry-Fit has guaranteed us Spyrex's alignment/faction.

Dry-Fit isn't voting Spyrex.not voting for the person you have a result on?Is there something that makes you think your result is unreliable? Because this makes absolutely no sense to me.-

I have no idea where this result is from or if it's accurate. Kise's result is suppossedly role-based so to me seems more reliable. And as I said, if Spyrex is telling the truth we can get an extra protect from him by lynching him second.Spyrex wrote:Is there any reason you're not voting for the person you have a result on? Two werewolves bite you with the intent of converting you, then leave. Then in bold it says that you are infected.SpyreX wrote:Dry-fit, what EXACTLY did your dream say?
Yes, literally. My vote is based on Kise's result obviously.crypto wrote:Dry-fit, did your dream literally say he had been infected?

A sudden howl starts to fill the ears of everyone in the surrounding area. Heads are turning trying to find out where the horrid noise is erupting from. Before your very eyes, you see fur and teeth sprout upon SpyreX, before green froth and pus explode, tearing his half-changed form apart.
