No. Those were two different days.

Plus your soft defense of Anon and Iec early on are ehhhhhh

Then again you shot Anon and nobody's countered that unless I missed it.

dunno. It's Day 8. I can't handle Day 8.

Mod's off learning things.

And sure I'll take credit for that. ?

I just have this horrible feeling I'm going to wake up to a pile of dead townies tomorrow. Or not wake up at all.

We've flipped:
- 2 orange PRs
and
- 2 red goons
- 1 red PR

There's at least 1 more orange and 1 more red out there. The three kids sitting in limbo makes this wacky but having just one kill (MPR) with 1 vig + 2 scum groups left just seems off. Maybe I'm just paranoid but damn.

Thats my issue but theoretically we could have super won and I jailed Budja and Nacho blocked Cyber and that -could- explain it.

Or one of them is in limbo AND the other kill is explained above.

Or, of course, they opted to be cool kids and not shoot.

Doesn't matter. If we can hit one before lylo AND Nacho AND I are alive we can not lose. Even at 4.

Lynch count was reached Post 2040. Scene to come briefly.

Vote Count 8 - 02: Lynch

Budja - 6 - SpyreX, farside22, MehPlusRawr, Nachomamma8, Papa Zito, xvart

Not Voting (4): Kmd4390, Cyberbob, Budja, J-Scope,

With 10 players alive it'll take 6 to lynch and 5 to no-lynch.

Vote Count 8 - 02: Revive

Not Voting (10): Kmd4390, farside22, MehPlusRawr, SpyreX, Papa Zito, Cyberbob, xvart, Nachomamma8, Budja, J-Scope

With 10 players alive it'll take 6 to Revive. If a player has 6 or more votes to Revive, the choice is locked in and that player will be revived and return to the game proper when the lynch resolves.

Game over. Commentary and PMs to follow &c.

"But no wizardry nor spell, nor fang nor venom, nor devil's art nor beast-strength, could overthrow Huan of Valinor; and he took his foe by the throat and pinned him down. Then Sauron shifted shape, from wolf to serpent, and from monster to his own accustomed form; but he could not elude the grip of Huan without forsaking his body utterly. Ere his foul spirit left its dark house, Lúthien came to him, and said that he should be stripped of his raiment of flesh, and his ghost be sent quaking back to Morgoth; and she said: 'There everlastingly thy naked self shall endure the torment of his scorn, pierced by his eyes, unless thou yield to me the mastery of they tower.'" (Silmarillion, 175)

Dammit, I accidentally edited the game-end scene into I think what used to be Morgoth's death scene. That'll have to get fixed sometime.

Hey guys, remember when I said FFFF's power was transfered?

Heh, funny story.

I was actually a universal backup. So first power role to die, I got their role.

So I was the one who actually got FFFF's power.

And that's how I knew Socio was scum.

Good times.

Greatly though he had desired to see again the light of the Trees, in the face of Melian he beheld the light of Aman as in an unclouded mirror, and in that light he was content." (Silmarillion, 58)

"Now Melian had much foresight, after the manner of the Maiar; and when the second age of the captivity of Melkor had passed, she counselled Thingol that the Peace of Arda would not last for ever." (Silmarillion, 92).

"Therefore he withdrew all his people that his summons could reach within the fastness of Neldoreth and Region, and Melian put forth her power and fenced all that dominion round about with an unseen wall of shadow and bewilderment: the Girdle of Melian, that none thereafter could pass against her will or the will of King Thingol, unless one should come with a power greater than that of Melian the Maia" (Silmarillion, 97).

'Another gift I will give to you, Cúthalion,' said Melian, 'that shall be your help in the wild, and the help also of those whom you choose.' And she gave him store of
    lembas
, the waybread of the Elves, wrapped in leaves of silver, and the threads that bound it were sealed at the knots with the seal of the Queen, a wafer of whit wax shaped as a single flower of Telperion; for according to the customs of the Eldalië the keeping and giving of
    lembas
belonged to the Queen alone." (Silmarillion, 202)

"Then Beren looking up beheld the eyes of Lúthien, and his glance went also the the face of Melian; and it seemed to him that words were put into his mouth. (Silmarillion, 166)

    - You know that Mandos of the race of
    Valar
(singular Vala) is not in this game, and that the Moderator considers Servant of Thingol (Elf) and Follower of Finrod (Elf) to be viable fakeclaims:
    Image

"And as she knelt before him her tears fell upon his feet like rain upon the stones; and Mandos was moved to pity, who never before has been so moved, nor has been since.
Therefore he summoned Beren, and even as Lúthien had spoken in the hour of his death they met again beyond the Western Sea. But Mandos had no power to withhold the spirits of Men that were dead within the confines of the world, after their time of waiting; nor could he change the fates of the Children of Ilúvatar" (Silmarillion, 187).

    Image
"Far aloft between the shafts of Hírilorn a wooden house was built, and there Lúthien was made to dwell; and the ladders were taken away and guarded, save only when the servants of Thingol brought her such things as she needed." (Silmarillion, 172)

    Image
"There were ten that stood by him; and the cief of them, who was named Edrahil, stooping lifted the crown and asked that it be given to a steward until Felagund's return." (Silmarillion, 170)

PLAYERNAME:

Welcome to
The Lay of Leithian Mafia
. You are
The Silmaril, Third Party Shifting Killer of the race of Primeval Jewels
.

"As three great jewels they were in form. But not until the End, when Fëanor shall return who perished ere the Sun was made, and sits now in the Halls of Awaiting and comes no more among his kin; not until the Sun passes and the Moon falls, shall it be known of what substance they were made. Like the crystals of diamond it appeared, and yet was more strong than adamant, so that no violence could mar it or break it within the kingdom of Arda. Yet the crystal was to the Silmarils as is the body to the Children of Ilúvatar: the house of its inner fire, that is within it and yet in all parts of it, and is its life. And the inner fire of the Silmarils Fëanor made of the blended light of the Trees of Valinor, which lives in them yet, though the Trees have long withered and shine no more. Therefore even in the darkness of the deepest treasury the Silmarils of their own radiance shone like the stars of Varda; and yet, as were they indeed living things, they rejoiced in light and received it and gave it back in hues more marvelous than before." (Silmarillion, 67)

Passive Abilities:
  • Possession
    - At all times you are alive, you must be in the possession of another player. If the player possessing you is successfully killed, you will revert to the possession of the killer. If the player possessing you is lynched, you will revert to the possession of a random player on the lynch wagon. There may or may not be other ways you may be transferred from the possession of one player to another. Because you cannot be in possession of yourself, you have no Silmaril Bonus. You begin the game in the possession of Anon.
  • Neighborhood
    - You will have any time talking powers with whoever possesses you at a given time. You must post under the name Silmaril; your possessor will post under his or her username. You may converse with Anon here starting pre-game.
  • Safeclaim
    - You know that Galadriel of the race of Elves is not in this game:

    Image

"A sister they had, Galadriel, most beautiful of all the house of Finwë; her hair was lit with gold as though it had caught in a mesh the radience of Laurelin." (Silmarillion, 61)

"Finrod was with Turgon, his friend; but Galadriel, the only woman of the Noldor to stand that day tall and valiant among the contending princes was eager to be gone. No oaths she swore, but the words of Fëanor concerning Middle-earth had kindled in her heart, for she yearned to see the wide unguarded lands and to rule there a realm at her own will." (Silmarillion, 84)

"Galadriel his sister went not with him to Nargothrond, for in Doriath dwelt Celeborn, kinsman of Thingol, and there was great love between them. Therefore she remained in the Hidden Kingdom, and abode with Melian, and of her learned great lore concerning Middle-earth." (Silmarillion, 115)
Active Abilities:
  • Kill (Special)
    - One during the game, you may target another player to kill him or her. This action is preferably submitted in the format
    Kill: Playername
. You may submit this at Night or during the Day, in which case it will resolve with the lynch. This ability expires after the first time you use it.
  • Possession (Special)
    - If you ever die or are killed in any way, you will be removed to the
    Halls of Mandos
. At that time you must PM me a player who has never possessed you previously; if you fail to do so, I will randomly choose a player from those who meet that criterion. The next Night that player will gain possession of you and you will move back to the game proper (that is, you won't be dead anymore).
  • Possession (Special)
    - At any time during the Day, you may (not must) PM me the name of a player who has never possessed you previously. You will revert to the possession of that player. This ability resolves with the lynch.
You win when the game ends AND all players who have previously possessed you, but not the one who does so currently, are dead.

For example, if at the end of the game Player A, Player B, and Player C have previously possessed you and you are now in the possession of Player D, you would win if A, B, and C are dead but D is alive. You would not win if any one of A, B,and C are alive.

Please confirm your role by PM.
