Because you practically told us. And I do not think we should not mention it because scum already know he is a PR of some sort so it only hurts the town not to know what. Scum will probs target him now anyway, unless he is scum which is still possible.dybeck wrote:

Ok, got some time, going to update this game.
Updating from page 79(which was my last update), typing as I go
Actually I have been skimming, but there isn’t that much to comment on.
Dybeck claims rolecop “of sorts”, Jahudo considers a massclaim, and Javert doesn’t like it.
Dybeck calls bob a vanilla villager. Bob is not immediately voting dybeck so it must be true. I agree, a rolecop, could be town or scum.
Interesting, to same me some time going back,
Bob, what was your reaction to my thoughts on Espy and his vanilla claim…I will go back and check, but it would speed things along if you just told me know.
Dybeck, when ABR claimed to be a cop, what was your reaction, like my question for bob, I will go back and check, but lack the time now.
where did this come from?Espeonage wrote:Question: Would a hider die if they hid with a third party role?
Meh, caught up, not much has gone on.
I think dybeck, should fully claim everything today….right now there is no clear leader on who to lynch and the information might shed light. Will I want to string up dybeck if he doesn’t, no, but still would like to see if the info helps today. I am beginning to suspect ABR again, he is useless and I am starting to think that the crazy fake cop claim gambit is a null tell. As scum, he could have tried to buy himself some town cred by sacrificing one of his own.
That being said, I feel like my vote is in the right place for now…I think Nick needs to be pressured-

I didnt immediately vote dybeck because he was half right and I was already voting for him??? Did you want me to revote?
I have been deliberately sketchy on Espy because I dont really know. Dybeck allowing me to ask my role but not espy seemed a bit like it undermined espy's claim.
If he is town which assumes dybeck's claim is true, a big leap then I suppose there are reasons, but not many for Espy to lie. Unless I am completely wrong and dybeck knows espy is a villager/vanilla something or other. somethin else that sound vaguely nearly like a role that a role cop can sort of cliam he has checked nad get away with it.-

To be honest, at the time, it was a bit of a Deus Ex Machina for me. I knew from Sando's claim that he was lying, and the fact that ABR had secured a scum lynch without forcing me to claim meant that I had no reason to question it. Sando was the clear lynch for the day, and everything else was irrelevant until the next day.curiouskarmadog wrote:Dybeck, when ABR claimed to be a cop, what was your reaction, like my question for bob, I will go back and check, but lack the time now.
I don't see why there shouldn't be an alignment cop in the game though, so I wasn't at all suspicious. His revelation the next day that it was an odd gambit was kinda weird - I still don't quite know what to make of it, to be honest. Everything in me says to lynch all liars, but he did nail a scum for us.Eeny. Meeny. Miney. Vote.-

Except that use of the word 'villager' is in the mod's first post, and that you subsequently denied that 'villager' was a roleclaim.NickF227 wrote:Its pretty obvious I'm not scum, I mean I was the first person to ever use the term 'villager' in reference to my role, before anyone was lynched/killed and it revealed his name for the vanilla townie role....
But whatever.

Yeah this implies that you were not talking about the role name regardless of whether or not its your actual role. Your correction makes it seem as though you were talking about villager in the town alignment sense. I don't know why you're now trying to use it as some kind of defense.NickF227 wrote:
I did? I was just saying I am on the town's side....dybeck wrote:
I'm intrigued. Why did you just roleclaim for no reason?NickF227 wrote:Of course, I am me and I know I'm a villager, so...yeah.-

@Shanba: How is that Sando wagon analysis coming along?
Why am I a better lynch than Faraday now? You say we both voted Richard over BV with poor reasoning. Was my day 2 play worse than Faradays? Was my day 3 play bussing, and if so what makes you think so compared to any of the other votes on Sando?farside22 wrote:I am completely lost this game right now.-

Not right now thanks. I'd prefer to get to lynching scum.Javert wrote:dybeck, I noticed you still have not explained your role. Please get to doing that.
Your post is, however, a beautiful effort to lurk in plain sight and to try and distract from the clear main issue of the moment, vis a vis that your scumbuddy is at L-2 and rising.
Why don't you tell us what you think about that instead?Eeny. Meeny. Miney. Vote.
