You said earlier that there was a specific explanation for my behavior that you would accept, because you've found yourself in such a position as town, or something like that. Since that doesn't appear to have factored into your analysis given your most recent post, what were you referring to?

(I always self-meta. Namely, I did it with you in Linked Role Chaos v2.0 D1. [/self-meta])

behavior and intent are about the same thing IMO. You didn't demonstrate the intent I expected. It's hard to explain what I was looking for, but what it was wasn't there.

Anyway, how about you link the game and show me.

...we have forced preview now? Fucking win.

So, what would have been the "intent" in not noticing something? Like, "I was focused elsewhere"?

Situations were different, in the meta example you provide. You engage in direct WIFOM here. Your meta defense there was over the use of a word.

It's really, really, hard to explain, Iec. It's not even precisely what you say but how you say it. I'm still working out the details myself. It makes it hard to push a case until I get a clear idea of what looks scummy. If I were to guess now, it was the intent in your self meta.

1A. Yeah, but it's nonetheless a confirmed-town instance of me claiming that I always/often self-meta as town. Unless I was lying as town, you can assume that that much is probably accurate. That game's instance came to mind because I used almost the very same words as in this game.

1B. I can think of other times when I've used self-meta, too, but the other instance that really comes to mind is ongoing.

2. Fair enough.

Actually, IIRC you said you always self meta, which makes it, at best, a null tell. This argument has gotten stupid though.

It makes it at
worst
a null tell.* (That, or I am self-deluded about my playstyle.) Because if it were worse than a null tell, I'd have been deliberately misleading as town. Agreed @ the other though.

I say at best because I argue you self meta differently as town or scum, and since your current self meta there was different from the town example, it doesn't look good.

Sweet we already lynched him!?!?

Oh wait....... way to get my hopes up UK.

The main reason is that he
got a scum role PM
A) was / is showing a fair amount of cognitive dissonance and is actively showing that he isn't going to change the way he is playing. B) his long post on page 7 is about 8 kinds of scummy.

May I add the lack of formal ISO and the lack of posts numbers is giving me multiple sads.

I actually got a slight town vibe from that post. Mostly relating to how he responded to me.

EBWOP: Regardless, can you show me the post where the cognitive dissonance occurs again? I know it's been mentioned before but yeah.

Not one post; trend throughout every single one of his posts.

Sort thread by authors; Kise starts midway down page 4; just read his posts in order.

It jumps out with neon lights and a safety vest, while waving flares.

If you want me to highlight specfic examples I'll be happy to but I feel just reading his posts in ISO will get the point across right well.
