@TBM: You have recently said that Kise's post on page 7 was about 8 kinds of scummy. Could you point out the 8 (or so) kinds of scummy stand out to you? I read it as town tbh so please point out the specifics of the scumminess you see for me.
Unvote; Vote:RBT
FoS: Nacho
@RBT: You have posted 4 total post and 0 actual content. Is there a reason you don't want to allow anyone to get a read on you?
@Nacho: You have a total of 3 post with only one of those containing content. Not much better than RBT but same question to you.If you think I'm scum D1, bet all your money I'm town.-

@Kthxbye:Let's go tit for tat; you tell me why you think it's town I tell you why I think it's scummy; the catch is you have to go first. Sound good?Routine day with a dirt cheap brush
Then a week goes by and it goes untouched
Then two, then three, then a month
Then the rest of your life, you beat yourself up-

Sure thing TB, the problem is I'm not looking for your scum findings of Kise's post to be a townie thing for you to do to help me judge/read Kise. I'm asking because I want to judge/read you from your response. Hope that counts as going first for you. Your turn.If you think I'm scum D1, bet all your money I'm town.-

A) That posts useless; saying in a game of mafia that your going to judge people / read into their responses is a complete waste of time; of course you are that's the whole point of the game.Kthxbye wrote:Sure thing TB, the problem is I'm not looking for your scum findings of Kise's post to be a townie thing for you to do to help me judge/read Kise. B) You don't mention Kise's post once in that post, thus it sure as hell doesn't explain why you find it a town tell.Routine day with a dirt cheap brush

A) Then you understand why I asked you to explain in the first place.
B) I guess I mis-understood your tit for tat post. I read it as 'tell me why you think it's town (of me) I tell you why I think it's scummy. Now I see that you meant you want me to tell you why I read Kise's post as town (as I stated) and then you will tell me why it's scummy.
How bout it's scummy to call someone's post "8 kinds of scummy" and then won't or can't back up the statement with reasons when asked for them.
I will however, play your game this time and post why I read it as town in my next post. Going to sleep now though. If you think I'm scum D1, bet all your money I'm town.-

You called him scum a fair amount earlier; but yes depending on how he goes about answering the question I'm in agreement that he isn't a lynch target for today.Iecerint wrote:I like KTB a lot.Routine day with a dirt cheap brush

As promised, why I read Kise's post as town vs scum. First of all, there are a few things in it I agree with. I believe that his 'lurkiness' and the things that were presented by some to be scummy actually did get us out of RVS fairly quickly. Whether he did this on purpose or not, I can't say, but I believe his explanation of why he didn't come defend himself right away. I also see the logic in calling out UK as he did. I also agree with his comments about DTM and the way he went about his role. I'm also at a loss for why DTM brought this up when he did and am still waiting on how he can confirm towniness from the little info he gave us. I also see him looking up info about Adell's parents as a pro-town move over a scum motivated one. Second reason I read the post as town over scum motivated was because it came off to me as an honest post. Thirdly, I never bought into the case against him in the first place (as I've stated), so I'm not going into reading his post with a scum read on him.
The 2 things that do give me pause are the "counter-claim" comments (Which I would like you to explain a little bit Kise), but overall, it seemed a legitimate post which is more townie than scummy.
These are the reasons I asked for you to point out the parts that looked fake and or scummy to you.
@RBT: How does your latest post differ in any way from the reason I voted for you in the first place? That's your 5th post and again, 0 content. How is my vote misrepping you when the reasons behind it are factual. Where is the content, in your opinion, in any of your posts? How are your posts moving us along in any way to finding scum? On the flip side, what do you think about Nacho so far in this game? As far as my vote is concerned, you are coming off scummier than Iece at the moment, hense the "votehop".If you think I'm scum D1, bet all your money I'm town.-

Hello, I am not dead; but I am very busy at the moment and will be catching up tonight after work. In the meantime was there really a:
kthx vote Iece
Iece voices how he thinks kthx is more town now
kthx unvotes Iece
Iece thinks kthx is even more town now
Series of events?
I'll be back later tonight (scheduled until 11PM EST and hopefully actually get let off then), someone should be on then too so I have someone to get into an argument with after making a more detailed catch-up post hopefully. Especially if your name is Nacho/RBT/DavidParker.
Now excuse me while I go and alert my other game that I'm also not dead there too!-

Jarti gained scumpoints with the last post. Townies somewhat irrationally cling to their prior perceptions of events. He didn't. TownJarti, who'd been pushing KTB with me for awhile, would've tried to persuade me that I was wrong about KTB, because that's what town wagon-mates do. Instead, he tries to argue that it is scummy for me to think KTB is town for unvoting me after I show my thought process.
FoS: Jarti.
Not sure if I prefer Jarti or Magna. Reread necessary before I evaluate this too much. And I have an exam Tuesday, so it may take awhile. Just sayin.-

Manga: Respond to what I just quoted here and tell me what you think.foobert wrote:
I don't agree. I guess I think about it like this ... what is the difference between what he did and waiting for the RVS to end before posting? Would lurking through the RVS stage be a "disconnect between actions and words" just the same as deliberately trying to end it? I don't buy that argument.Jarti wrote:If I may ask, what part of TB's thought process are you having trouble following? And once you figure that out, do you agree or disagree?
For the same reasons I question the legitimacy of votes on KTB.
Hi. Note your trends with quotes (sigh, ISO #s are gone) & then why the wagons are illogical on those trends. You just said you disagreed with the Kise argument and the kthx argument. It's easy to just disagree with every which direction the town goes and prevent town from getting anywhere, and without a vote yourself you're stagnating process. I just ISO'd you as well and see you go ahead and disagree with the next wagon that forms which is Iece. I want you to vote in your next post.foobert wrote:From my perspective it seems like the major trends in the game are jumping on the most scummy actions rather than actions that are actually scummy. Don't get me wrong, I'm not trying to say that that isn't a good idea or that it doesn't lead to more accurate lynches; it's just that talks of quick lynching and bandwagoning on this type of knowledge doesn't seem logical to me.
You could take it one step further and say I didn't attempt to get UK back on the wagon as well. But I'm fairly sure you're too polarized around events concerning yourself at the moment than to notice. Also you're forgetting to notice it was a question about events that happened, meaning I skimmed, because I'm sure I could have answered that on my own if I had actually read what I had needed to catch up on! Which I now did. And yes, it still sticks to me the way I described it. Looks like a case of kthx distancing & you budding at the same time. But if you'd like, yes I'd love for you to bus your buddy for me. I'd also love to kill you both! You've also been preoccupied with calling kthx town than pushing your own case against MoI.Kise wrote:
Yes and no, actually. I may have a chance to retouch on this later.Jarti wrote:On Kise: ISO 4 & 5 for him are why I don't feel like he's a good wagon. He seems to be egging TBM on to push things out of RVS indirectly, which I'm fine with, doesn't come off as scummy to me.
Oh hi. It's later.
Discussion is the most anti-town behaviour imaginable.DavidParker wrote:Hammering without any discussion before the hammer this early into a thread is the most anti-town behaviour imaginable.
Agree/disagree & why, go!
Then after you disagree make me a scenario where you would agree.

Kthx, you vote RBT & FOS Nacho. You then hound on RBT for opinions on Nacho. Flip it around now.

Are you saying that my FoS for you is OMGUS, or are you lampshading that your vote for me is OMGUS?
Also, do you mean "complementary"?-
