Davidparker, you haven't done a paticularly good job explaining your Butterfly vote or what changed your mind about how scummy he looked. (You went from thinking he wasn't to thinking he was.) You seemed disinterested in him at first, and suddenly became interested in lynching him after several people found him suspicious.

As it is I agree with Nacho to a certain extent about the VI thing, but I think Zach put it aptly in post 241, I wanna see what everyone has to say about the butterfly lynch and then I'll place my vote.

I don't like that you had to ask everyone else's opinion before you decided to place a vote. If you're a townie that thinks he's found scum, you really shouldn't be worried about everyone else's opinions, should you?

I want everyone to give their solid opinion before he is lynched for the sake of day 2 information, it gives me a reference point when I'm putting the pieces together on later days, assuming I am around in later days.

I'm not worried about their opinions in particular, I just want everyone to make a stance on the wagon so I can use their stance to garner information at a later date, I'm pretty sure I've already said this, in an earlier post concerning oxide.

As to what I have to say about Zach's problem with me not wanting to hammer - I didn't want to hammer. Nothing else to add.

Not much else to say at this point, I'm pretty much waiting on butterfly's forthcoming alignment.
In my opinion the scum are likely in {Butterfly, Nacho, SSBF, Antonio (Lurker mc Lurk) and Davidparker} but that list is at least partly dependent on Butterfly flipping scum.

This sounds like you're trying to misrepresent him to be scum.

First of all, do you honestly think his brother knows his role? Second of all, why don't you think that Butterfly is simply newbtown who got nervous, then tried to use a lie to get the heat off him?

But why couldn't you take a stance on the wagon yourself before asking for everybody else's? Why did you need other people's opinions to develop your own?

I think butterfly has acted scummier than anyone else in this game. Arguing that is difficult, early on I was reluctant to vote him as pointed out because he was an "easy target" as some said. But upon rereading him in iso, it's pretty easy to see how he seems like a scum digging his own hole. With that said, what does my gut say? Initially it said town, but upon re-reading my gut is leaning towards scum, so I don't have any problem voting him based on his actions.

Look, it's possible he's newb town, but I see it as being just as possible (and imo more possible) he's newb scum. Having him stay around is dangerous, unless someone has the capability to clear him, we definitely don't want him in a lylo situation if he is town, so I think he has to be lynched eventually whether he's town or scum, unless someone is going to clear him. And as for clearing him: he's proven himself to be young/immature and not all that clever. Why would we want to clear a player like that when an investigation is more useful elsewhere.

Until I see a scummier player, I don't see anyway I'm going to change my vote.

also i dont think theres really anyway to save myself in this game. almost everything i say someone finds some way to point it toward scum, like they are trying to make it so that nobody can see them as scum, Jason.
becouse of this i would be voteing for Jason but i see Antonio a lot more scummy becouse he has been posting less game content then i have. he aslo has not been posting at all. this makes him seem very scummy to me.

and i also see that DP is "going with the flow" a little to much.
i have not seen him make any decisoins on his own.
i saw that Antonio said he would be posting more but he has not started posting at all yet and is still has no game content. but this could just mean that he is really busy at the moment. or he is still watching us and whaiting for a townie to make a big mistake and jump on it. although if that was the case he would probably be all over me right now...
