One player is the Kingmaker, one or more are Villains, and the remainder are Peasants, though a couple may be power roles. The Kingmaker selects a King each day, and the King decides who to lynch.
This is a semi-open setup. Only the following roles will appear in the game:
You are a peasant. You can't vote. However, the Kingmaker can make you King for the day, in which case you will have a vote. If the Kingmaker dies, you have a chance of becoming the new Kingmaker.
You are a merchant. You can't vote. However, the Kingmaker can make you King for the day, in which case you will have a vote. You can never become Kingmaker.
You are a hero of the people. If you are executed, the people will rise up and kill the King in revenge. You can't vote, but the Kingmaker can make you King for the day, in which case you will have a vote. You can never become Kingmaker.
You are a doctor. You can protect other players from kills. You can protect another player from the scum's kill at night. You can't vote, but the Kingmaker can make you King for the day, in which case you will have a vote. You can never become Kingmaker.
You are a cop. You can inspect another player at night to learn if they are scum. You can't vote, but the Kingmaker can make you King for the day, in which case you will have a vote. You can never become Kingmaker.
You are a vigilante. You can kill another player at night. You can't vote, but the Kingmaker can make you King for the day, in which case you will have a vote. You can never become Kingmaker.
You are the Kingmaker. Neither you, nor any other player, can vote. Each day, you may motivate another player to turn them into the King. (Please send in a backup choice in case the first choice is nightkilled.) If you die, a random peasant will become Kingmaker.
The King will be declared at the beginning of each day. They end the day withYou are an evil villain, trying to take over the town from the foolish peasants. You can't vote, but you can kill at night. The Kingmaker can also make you King for the day, in which case you will have a vote.
Players: [10]
The setup will be balanced according to the number of players. Day deadlines will be somewhere around 15 minutes, probably. Nights will be very short, so if you anticipate being away, send in actions early.
