I don't see how fitz and Oso can be scum together. They've been voting together for practically the entire game. If they are scum together, I'm going to be seriously weirded out by the cross-buddying they've been doing all game.
Are you serious? Thank god you're dying tonight. So, who's Oso's partner then, mister? InflatablePie and MS are both voting Oso right now, which is a foolish scum bus, because it removes the option of a scum win. Have you not read havingfitz recent posts pleading against the Oso wagon? It's super obvious havingfitz is Oso's buddy - read today's posts (mine especially).

Taking his posts into complete isolation, I would say fitz is scum regardless of Oso's alignment simply due to the sheer buddying to Oso that's going on there. In the context of this game, however, it IS pretty obvious they're buddies.

Oso (4): Hoopla, InflatablePie, Midnight's Sorrow, Nikanor

InflatablePie (2): havingfitz, Oso

Without a rope to use, the mob has no choice. The mob picks up Oso and shouts below. As the passerby see the falling body and Oso screaming, they all flee and scatter. Oso hits the deck in such a violent way that the narrator feels obligated to withhold the gory details. The mob doesn't even bother to look.

Two helicopters descend and pick up the mob. A man sits in one... and big surprise, Gwynplaine's vicious but pro-Boston grandmother is in the other one. The man has a look to see who the corpse is.

He suddenly turns away.

"Yeah, you fuckers fucked up."

"How'd we fuck up?"

"You killed my fucking co-worker. He lives in Boston, man."

"So we fucked up a Boston citizen?"

"You better fucking believe it."

"...motherfucker."

A man stays up late at midnight crunching numbers into his computer. The varying brightness as he clicks on windows and brings up data files shine against his glasses and his bald head. He begins to sweat. Even multiplayer RPG players don't sweat this much, so it must be serious. Curses, profanity, and incoherent incantations babble from his mouth as he feverishly clicks through files, types endlessly until his fingers go sore, and headdesks repeatedly as he tries to deduce what the figures mean. Blinking is not a bodily function he knows.

If only he was able to deduce someone with a gun was taking careful aim at him.

Said bald head has a silver, bloodstained cartridge implanted in it now. The man slowly and violently headdesks for the last time. His research has failed. The cop who detached himself from law enforcement has failed for the final time.

Image
Nikanor Shot N4:
Cop (Town)

The mob is now extremely nervous. Some are really shaking, wondering if guns are about to be pulled on them.

But the gunshots never come. It takes them a good 30 minutes to be assured of this, but the nervousness is soon replaced by the hubris that drove this mob to being formed. Eight of the 12 have died. The mob relocates to Beacon Hill, right in front of the State House. Plenty of trees. The bickering begins straightaway as they go scouting for a tree high enough and strong enough for the noose to take another life.

I'm gonna assume there's only one mafia left .-.

Otherwise, I wouldn't see the need of drawing it out like this if there was indeed two left. There would be no reason for it...

There has to be only one left. And I still think it's fitz. He defended the Oso wagon so strongly, like he knew Oso was town. However, I suppose the smartest move for today would be to No Lynch. Thoughts?

Depends who dies tonight.

For certain, it would end up with Hoopla as the clear and the other two arguing who is the better lynch. However, trying to lynch someone today requires a complete majority, and with three unclears, well... =/

NL is the typical move, I believe. Discussion is still welcome.

Also. Im gonna have a bitch fit if there
is
two mafia and we have to trudge through a day phase like this till deadline...>.>

I mean...what?? The most that would happen would be a tie up until the deadline, no lynch, death, Scum win....>.>

I find it highly unlikely that would be more then a tie, unless of course everyone's gone past the point of thinking Town actually has brains in these games....>.>

I'm pretty sure this doesn't have to be said, but...I like being ballzy anyways :D So wth~

Hoopla is Town.

There should be no ifs ands or buts about it. I can't see it any other way...and will be both, most displeased at the outcome, and highly respectfully to her as a player all in one go if she is indeed the scum. :D

Since we are still playing it looks like two scum left goes out the window as does my D4 thoughts which were based on a 3 mafia team.

Looks like a make-up of mafia-goon, mafia-RB, SK, Cop and dare I say it....PGO. I'm back on the PGO bandwagon as I doubt there would be no other town aligned role other than the cop facing an SK and a mafia RB.

@Hoopla...I was adament the remaining 2 scum were either you and IP or MS and IP. Disregarding your claim and leaning towards you based on your unwillingness to even consider the MS and IP pairing and the fact that if you were town...you are a good enough player to give all the options consideration. Still not sure why that wasn't the case, but as evidenced by Oso's flip...two of the three of you got D4 wrong.

@IP...why, if I was scum...would I be soooo adament that Oso was town and fight for other options rather than just join the wagon?

FMPOV, scum is IP or MS. Need to go back and look over votes/etc but I am still leaning towards IP based solely on the basis on MS and GP's interactions.

Ugh, I really set myself up to be disappointed then. That lynch was one of the surest I've felt in a while, and just goes to show how wrong we can be sometimes.

Hmmm, I would normally still assume we're in a 2-scum set-up, and the reason there hasn't been an endgame enforced is because of my own role. But surely, the town can't win even if we no-lynched and a scum targeted me at night for some reason as that takes it to 1-1.

I guess we must be in a 2:1:9, which is a little surprising considering the roles we know to exist. I suppose no-lynch is our only real option today. Appologies if this is brief - I hope to add something more substancial tomorrow.

@fitz: Because defending a townie makes you look town; simple. Scum know who is what alignment, so they can use that to make themselves seem town by lynching their buddy (bussing) or defending a townie.

And now you're back over to believing Hoopla's claim. AGAIN. It must feel nice to change when it's convenient, eh?

FMPOV

It is either IP or Fitz.

I don't believe that Fitz is out of the running just because he didn't hammer Oso when he had the chance. It would be known, once the night phase was over, that there was only one mafia left, and therefore quick hammering would not have been in his best interest at all. In fact why not try and look as Pro-Town as you can by doing just that, and people(Oso especially) automatically assume him Town based just on that .o.

IP gets scummy vibes because of the way he acted as far as Gywnplaine was concerned. I have no earthly idea why he would be even hesitant to vote him when he had the chance to. Gwyn was scummy as hell, what was there to be doubtful about? .-.

If I have to be honest, leaning more towards Fitz as the scum. -shrugs-

I've already explained this - he garnered a lot of votes in a short amount of time without saying ANYTHING in between them. It seemed off to me.

I understand the suspicion towards me, but in this case, you guys are wrong. :x

When is changing your mind not convenient? Are we locked in on suspects the moment we start suspecting someone? Do you still think Oso was scum?

And lynching town can get you one step closer to winning when you are scum.

I didn't think Oso was scum based on the pairings I came up with which were based on there being 2 scum left. Not sure what I would have came up with if I had been considering the fact there was only one scum left. That may have put Oso back into consideration for me but it's OBE now. But considering Oso town (which iirc most people were up until D4), even taking my flawed logic into account, is more suspect than voting for town?

If people think there was not scum on Oso's wagon then idk what to say. I know there was since I'm the only one left who wasn't on the Oso wagon.

A no-lynch would make the most sense but is there any reason to think there will be a corresponding NK?

At this time I'm good with a no-lynch or IP vote. I am not thinking MS is scum based on his interactions with GT. With only 2 scum I think it is even less likley MS busses GT so hard.

Soooo...no-lynch or IP. I'll hop on either wagon.

A Monday morning dawns, and legislators are going to work. Just about everywhere you turn, you're able to blindly shout "Hello, Representative!" and get a head to turn your direction. A haggard man stands outside the unused entrance to the State House saying with apparent difficulty "Excuuuuuuuuuuuuse me sirrrrrrrrr, but do youuuuuu have any sparrrrrrre channnnnnnnge?" with little success.

Well, the way I see it, is if there is two scum left, then we have lost already. We may as well play under the presumption there is only one, because we can actually have a say about that result. In which case, no lynch is the best option, because we eliminate someone from the suspects pool.

Vote: No lynch

I think this needs to be done with minimal discussion, so the scum can't predict which kill gives them the most favourable lylo.
