Everyone awakes to the sight of two new bodies found dead.
The first is that of SpyreX, better known as Remus Lupin. Although he was a werewolf, he had the option of keeping himself from killing if he wished. He was attempting to get rid of the Dark Lord, but was no longer able to, as he was dead. However, there were no marks or any visible reason for his death.

The second body was that of dramonic, also known as Fenrir Greyback. Although he had previously been working with the death eaters, he had determined that he was now a tool for the Dark Lord, and left to work on his own. It appears that someone found him, because his body was scratched and torn.

Death eaters kill Lupin. Lupin kills Fenrir. I'm pretty sure Fenrir also tried to kill (being a SK I'm guessing he must kill every night), but somehow failed.

But seeing that Lupin's shot went through even when the Death Eaters killed him leads me to believe that Fenrir's shot wasn't negated by his death, and that a doctor somewhere saved right. Therefore, we have a 'doctor' who now knows a clear.

I'm also very surprised that Dumbledore wasn't killed last night.

btw seeing as I am dead and nothing really applies to me anymore I want to ask town how they would like to use me. I can continue posting my musings about the game which someone might find useful when making cases or I can make an attempt at a good case. Considering how out of this game I have been I think the first would be better but I will still make cases if the town wants it.

This carries over from the end of D2 yesterday, where SpyreX and I said we'd lynch him. SpyreX is dead. We must carry on.

I am also surprised that RC isn't dead, but maybe he was protected.

If I was a pro-town ghost, I would be silent about my abilities till I'm lynched, then pretend to be dead for awhile. Then come back in and frighten scum by saying that "I've come back to life!" , and " Now, I'm unlynchable/unkillable! LOLOLOLOL" Which causes scum to go insane and surrender/shoot themselves.

Because he's a VI and playing recklessly, and scum either don't play recklessly or make very obvious mistakes when they do. Furc has not made obv-scum mistakes, as far as I can tell.

FakeGod played similarly, VI, in Go Play in Traffic. That's why I'm hesitant to have him go. He's acting just like he did there. I agree that he isn't much help, but he doesn't feel scummy to me.

Ok. Wow. Well that is simultaneously good and terrible. We just lost what may be our only night kill ability. Luckily at least there was one scum kill and we didn't get totally shafted, which could easily have happened. I protected myself last night, like I said I would.

and... HA! I was TOTALLY right about dramonic being scum (likely SK) and wondering what happened to one of the kills, because his didn't go through. dude I SO TOLD YOU GUYS. Whatever, that is in the past now.

What's disappointing is that I totally thought SpyreX's redirection of the dramonic wagon onto Espeonage was scum-motivated, and I thought that even more so after Espeonage flipped town. Is nobody else gonna say it? I'm not gonna lie, I totally thought SpyreX was scum. The way he was regarding dramonic in-thread and spent like 4 days trying to flip dramonic's wagon onto Esp totally made me think he was buddies with dramonic.


One thing I'm wondering while reading the thread since Night 2, is why nobody has said anything about the kill flavors. The SK (dram) died from being 'scratched and torn' (which is just like how ooba died the first night), but SpyreX died from 'no marks or any visible reason for his death'. We previously all assumed that the 'scratched and torn' kill flavor had to be Fenrir Greyback's, but apparently it's Lupin's.

Which makes me wonder: how did FakeGod, who wrote post #462, know that FG wasn't on the Death Eater Mafia team? I mean, yeah, it was only a guess, and yeah, it looked pretty speculative, but now that I read that post again, it makes me wonder if it was intentionally VI/speculative/offhand-ish. Also because 'wait, isn't fenrir a death eater?' was pretty much the first thing I thought of right after he said it, and when I looked it up on the wiki, it said he's a Death Eater.

I certainly hope you have some semblance of an explanation as to how you knew exactly what you knew, and (stranger still) how you conveniently speculated that the alignments were going against what the wiki said they were.

I am tempted to start an alliance but I don't know if would be prudent to do so at this time. The only person I would trust is jmj's slot and his replacement hasn't started talking yet. though I am pretty confident in MagnaofIllusion overall having played with him before. he will be a powerful asset if I'm not mistaken.

also, I am very surprised upon reading Kmd's #466 again, which correctly guesses lupin as a pro-town vig with 'scratched and torn' as a kill flavor.

oh! and also, I am gonna go ahead and say that furcolow's #493 disturbs me. greatly. i really dont like the tone of that post and how he basically speculates about all possible situations, and then says 'oh what the h311 lets lynch him anyways'. he sounds like he's trying to look town and discuss all possible situations, but still laying a vote down and hoping for a lynch.

either way, something about that post (even more than a lot of his other ones, which is saying something) is rreeaaalllyyy bugging me in my stomach. especially now that we know espeonage, spyrex, and dramonic's alignments.

My vote's still on fakegod though. I want to know how he knew what he knew when he knew it. I could see myself being convinced to go with a furc lynch too. They may both be scum. I have never played a full game with either of them before so I don't really know how they play. I will need to go back and look for connections between FG and MMM on day 1.
