Lately, nocase has given me bad vibes. He seems kinda... manipulative. He's not very good about his reasoning, he baits scumhunting in a really subtle way by trying to look like he's contributing to the discussion. It's like he's an IC in a newbie game who uses his IC status to hide his role.

you seem to have a fundamental misconception about my convo with xscorpion. i'm not trying to appear to be coaxing him into hunting scum. i'm demonstrating that he's not reacting to things in a way that a townie with a vested interest in hunting scum ought to. i'd hoped you might perceive on your own, but regardless - if i had explicitly pointed it out earlier then i wouldn't have gained the fruit of the extended convo, which is this: i repeatedly prodded xscorpion for a stance on adrien c's alignment based on adrien's recent maneuver (which xscorpion even interpreted as "getting other people to scumhunt for him"), and xscorpion repeatedly refused to give one. he didn't interpret adrien as being scum, or "lazy" scum, or town, or "lazy" town. he didn't even make it clear that the whole thing was a null tell. nope. he just concluded adrien a lazy bastard, which on its own is a thousand percent irrelevant to adrien's alignment.

I've been wavering between XS and Beefeater for the last few pages. But I think his last post was okay. Though I'm still wondering if there's a Beefeater/XS team and that's why he voted for you (to allow him to simply FoS XS rather than place a vote down on him)

So . . . . like . . . . this is my catch up post. Here goes.

Budja putting AV at L-2 is meh. A dash of scumminess there, but really nothing too major to worry about.

Random wagon is good in RVS, and in 9 people game, going at L-2 is not that hard either. But since it's a random wagon, it has about 1% of ending with an actual lynch, and yet you are concerned already. Why is that? Something to hide?

This might be something to do with the fact that it's the first non-newbie game I've played and its a lot more active than what I'm used to in the newbie games xD I admit I was initially a little nervous that I went to L-2 in less than a day. But I know that it's nothing to be concerned about, because it's RVS and someone needs to get voted in order to get the game rolling, and so I didn't want to explicitly show my immediate reaction in my posts (head over heart). Perhaps it still filtered through, which is why I look shifty?

This rubs me the wrong way, but purely gut.

The double no-explanation Beefster votes at the bottom of page 2 (Budja and d3x) bother me more than a little.

The exchange between AV and Xite about votes without reasons bores me to tears.

There is a crapload of discussion on theory/plans and less discussion on the actual players. I don't really like this.

I'd love to come back with this awesome analytic post full of scummy behavior that I've called out and such . . . but I'm bored and I'm really not that great at it.
