I don't see a particurlarly townie or scummy slant to that post . . . just a player interested in the game, which can happen regardless of alignment (admittedly though, I'm not that suspicious of him right now, just wondering what you see that I don't.)

Oh, I thought scum might prefer a game where not much is going on and things stagnate because players who are less interested might be less committed to scumhunting and reading posts as carefully. So by venting his frustration that people are allowing the discussion to slow down, I took that as a townie frustration.

Oh haha... yeah forgot about that. But we weren't really jesters, we were still an informed minority scum team.

The fact that this game is filled to the brim with people who don't actually explain votes on people is especially annoying. I'm not sure how many of the culprits are scum and how many are just failtown (inb4ImCalledAHypocrite), so all I can do is vote and hope I hit the right one.

Shouldn't this tell you that "not explaining votes" is not a reliable scum tell in this game? maybe you should try scumhunting a different way.

Oh, Rhinox, fancy giving your reasons why you agree with a Beefster lynch, seeing as you've put him at L-1?

I guess I missed my opportunity then to tell beefy to "claim or die", but what I would really mean anyways is "claim, then die" or "don't claim and still die", either way...

Anyways, I just agree with the points brought up against him that are scattered throughout the thread. I'm not going to go find them again, quote them, or put them in my own words, or whatever. They're in the thread. Basic themes of hypocrisy and inconsistencies, explained with backpedaling. I also feel confident in quite a few town reads, and by process of elim, beefy is scummiest of those few I don't have town reads on. If I'm wrong and beefy flips town, you can grill me about my reasons or lack of tomorrow I guess.

Alright, I see, that's possible.

I guess I didn't see it due to personal outlook . . . even if I was scum, I guess I'd prefer that people talk. I'd rather lose an active game than win an inactive one . . . it would still be fun to try and escape the lynch.

I checked nocase's profile. His most recent post was on the 15th . . . maybe he's just away?

Anyways, this bothers me. I can't get past a gut feeling that your fishing for a cc here . . . and there's information to be learned here.

I highly doubt it because if there is a cop and beefster is lying (50-50 shot), then the cop could claim the day before Lylo and guarantee we nail one scum.

XScorp: I understand what you tried to mean by Xite being scum- where PR in its context meant town-aligned power role. It's simply a miscommunication. Your play IS kinda wonky- not that it means anything because I've seen a lot of wonky VTs.

d3x: geez, attacking XS on miscommunication? The line between scummy and anti-town is sketchy at best and the fact that you're attacking him over such a small semantic bothers me.

XScorpion openly admits that he's tunnelling... I'm not liking this. He's actually starting to bother me. I thought his play was just plain wonky, before, but now he's looking scummy.

Aside from that, I see his point on XS.

I think there's an XS/Beefster team;

1) In the first post I quoted, he defends XS by saying he could just be wonky town, then defends him from d3x's anti-town/scummy comment.
2) In the second, he says he thinks he looks scummy, but doesn't vote for him - and this is at the point at which XS is under suspicion from the rest of the town anyway - possibly trying to blend in but not wanting to put his buddy at L-1.
3) In the third, he again agrees that XS is scummy, which a) distances XS from him and b) helps him in the event that XS gets lynched instead of him.
4) XS is also the only player, other than Beefster himself, to have never voted for Beefster.
