"Wait, I remember these birds..."
"Oh, great. You can see into the future but all you remember are Polly and Tweety?"
I really would prefer if you used your vote to find scum instead of using it to make sure one person isn't active lurking, when nearly everyone else in the thread is prod dodging and/or making minimal contributions.diginova wrote:The main reason my vote was on RC at that moment was that he said that he wouldn't post anything until he had a wagon going on him. I find active lurking to be much worse than actual lurking, and RC was very bad at that, and he actually posted some game-relevant information. Truthfully, at the time of my unvote, RC had promised a second part of his post, and I assumed that the initial prod would be enough to get him to start contributing, but if he keeps posting in line with his latest #369, my vote is going back on him very shortly.
I still think the flip from FoS to "leaning town" is highly suspicious, and his latest lurking and prod dodging isn't helping.I doubt it wrote:SharkFinn's ISOs 15 and 16:SharkFinn wrote:This combines both Karma's vote on me and why I think RC is suspicious. Karma voted me 'cause he thought that it was suspicious that I was suspicious of RC in the first post. I was more focused on the apology because, as you can see, he made A LOT of posts before this so apologizign for a lack of activity is unnecessary. Karma thought it was for the thought of a content filled post I was afraid of. I still fail to see how I implied that, but I had no problem, and still waiting for a good indepth post, which is where I'm growing suspect.
RC's first 18 or so posts from the iso a few posts ago were contentless, probably because of his modding of another game, but Im wondering where his main iso, indepth post is.
FoS: RC until I hear a solid, indepth post on a suspect
Prememptive FoS: Karma for overreacting to my post and the possible derailing the RC wagon (this is only applicable if he's actually scum)The transition from 15's FoS on RC to 16's "leaning town" is jarring. What happened between 15 and 16 is that a lot of people stated dislike of the RC wagon, so SharkFinn flipped to go with the crowd. Same thing can be said about his suspicions on Tasky, they appear only when Taskywagon has 3 people on it.SharkFinn wrote:VOTE: Tasky
Reiterating CKD's post. Tasky is scummy. RC is still pending his future post, but leaning on town.
I actually find active lurking to be a scumtell more than just uberlurking. I forget who originally brought this up, but I agree with the fact that town will mainly lurk enough to get prodded, while scum will lurk, yet still pop in and say something whenever they're called. The fact that RC constantly has enough time to post worthless joking content and ask why people are voting him shows that he's following the thread, he's just trying to stay under the radar so as not to say anything that could be evidence against him later. A breakdown of his ISO (he's posted 55 posts):I doubt it wrote:In fact, I'd like you to make one thing clear: Do you think he's scum, or do you just not like his active lurking? Also, did you think he was scum earlier, when you voted for him, and did you somehow change your mind when he did post content? I'm not really sure what to make of someone who essentially uses his vote as a prod.
maybe you didn't read this post.ReaperCharlie wrote:I and digi are not scum together, get that out of your head this very second. though i *am* interested why he is pushing on me so much. it seems like he was itchin' to lynch me
empking, I skim the last few posts since my own last, and then respond summarily. it's much different than reading in-depth and/or doing a full re-read. the time difference is between 3-4 minutes or 1.5-2 hours, and if that's not significant enough to be my reason why i am playing like this, then I don't know what is.
and i definitely don't have enough time to spend an hour in each game I'm in, each day or two, so.... hence the mini-catchup/prod avoidance posts.
Mafuyu will bite! Mafuyu thinks that three days worth of content as well as it being a weekend is a fairly decent reason for a chance in viewpoint; however, it is worthwhile to consider in said conjunction with recent attempts to lurk.I doubt it wrote:I still think the flip from FoS to "leaning town" is highly suspicious, and his latest lurking and prod dodging isn't helping.

^ This (recently finished) game helps explain Emp's actions re. RC.
3 votes. Why?ReaperCharlie wrote:I can dig that. Remind me again how many votes are on you though, Sharkfinn?
All you did was post a summary of his posts. you didn't do any interpretation or explaining what about those posts makes empking scum. I'd like to hear some reasoning, rather than "here's an iso-summary, vote: XXXXX".sharkfinn wrote:UNVOTE:

9 posts have been made by him (most of them recently making this a an easy iso)
Post 1: RVS on The Longing
Post 2: Defends Vote on The Longing
Post 3: (4 days later) Reiterates TL Scum.
Post 4: Asks Karma why the vote is on me and Votes RC
Post 5: Unvotes and revotes RC <-- this is why I didn’t like the wagon on RC and still have some doubts about.
Post 6: Explains that RC is not scumhunting and he could do better as town.
Post 7: Unvotes because RC is contributing, votes KL
Post 8: Explains that he does not like the play of KL because it’s defensive and not putting himself out there.
Post 9: Comment about wording of his previous post.
Post 10: Asks RC why he posts a lot if he doesn’t have time

thats what you are noting, then? Not the fact he was threatening to vote me if I didnt back off of him? You also dont touch on the fact I wanted him to defend his threat ie explain why I was scummy. It also should be noted that my scum vibe was on about him....well at least my not-town vibe.
"And for what it's worth: Even though TL flipped town, she deserved to die. (She's probably in the dead players quicktopic at this very moment shaking her fist and screaming "I AM NOT FEMALE!" rofl)"
other than the miller explain, why in your words was TL scummy?
also I am curious, when did the “other half” of the post get deleted (when did you realize) ? When did you type it(right before, days earlier)? Would like some details on this please. Why answer the why later.ReaperCharlie wrote:ah crap i think i accidentally deleted the other half of my post.

thats not our fault nor is it an excuse.ReaperCharlie wrote: i will contribute as i get time. i haven't had much time to devote to this game lately, i have a bunch of others too.
ummm, just a heads up, my wife is about to pop as well (08/18), so if I disappear during this time, that is why...will give a heads up if I can...heard the hospital has wifi. Have prodded Robbnva, KageLord and CallMeLiam. Am searching for a pre-emptive Robbnva replacement.
