Alright, then. I am the Town Bus Driver. I did not use my ability last night, because I didn't have good enough reads on anyone to use it without messing up any possible town roles.

I understand everyone's suspicion of me. I am ok with getting lynched today, because (due to some crazy unfortunate circumstances) I've become a large distraction from scumhunting. There's a lot of evidence that points my way, that I have essentially no defense against except the aforementioned shitty luck. I do ask that I am not lynched now, as it would essentially serve to give scum an extra night, since we have gathered very little information so far. If the town decides not to lynch me after all, all the better. It means we might lynch another scum today instead.

If you are a bus driver; you should have fake claimed.

One: there is so way scum would allow the risk of a bus driver to survive easily get miskilled (and if you killed, I would be all to suspicious of you)
Two: Its such an easy thing to lie about; bus driver is so neutral in power that it hard to assess whether its good or bad

Either way its too too risky; even if you do flip town for you to stay out

I've got a major essay I should be working on right now so I don't have a lot of time to post at the moment, but I'm worried that with that "I'm okay to be lynched" attitude of quadz that we may be looking at another scum supersaint or bomb, so if quadz is going to be lynched today I think we should force someone we think is scummy to drop the hammer just in case.

I'm not sure what you're asking here. If we (the town) tell him who to target, then he could be an asset. However, since we don't know that normal town abilities are town, he could be a scum bus driver or not a bus driver at all.

Don't expect much explanation out of millar. I think I see where he's coming from though. Mitsuru is saying that it is dangerous to let him fall under the control of the scum, which can't happen in a democratic decision, as scum are less than the majority at any given point in time.

True, but democracy often relies on how good candidates are at speaking.

In other words, it's entirely possible for scum to heavily influence the direction I'd be pointed at. I think Mitsuru makes a good point.

Now that my assignment is finished and I've had time to reread I think quadz may actually be telling the truth, as I can see a townie holding off on that hammer in order to not end the day so quickly, and the speed that quadz got to L-1 suggests to me that scum are likely to be involved. Vez I think was being opportunistic in his vote on quadz after Agar rose the suspicion, and it's strange that he said he liked the wagon when there wasn't actually a wagon on quadz yet. I think he's also trying to make it sound as if a bus driver is really dangerous in scum hands in order to try and push the lynch when in reality I don't think it is.

I think that claiming outright on D1 is the dead wrong play for PGO. It derails discussion and moves the focus away from the game at hand into people wasting their entire time discussing whether the claim is genuine or scum-motivated. By waiting until after a full day of scumhunting has been done, people can form an opinion on my alignment off of my D1 behavior and generally make a post or two about the claim and then move on with the game, and chasing down suspects based off of D1.
