I dislike his attack on me for obvious reasons, especially because he bases it on another we just finished together where I was mafia and he investigated me as cop, resulting in massive tunnel syndrome... This vote feels iffy to me. Lowell's quoted post is crummy as hell, but Magna seems to be misinterpreting some of the points in order to deliberately support his point. Lowell fos was based on the fact that "two quietish folks [showed] up to cast votes", not because of them being a lurker. Thus his second sentence regarding Quoi or Thief is baseless. The sentence wasn't that hard to understand either, so I get the impression that he just made that question up to justify the vote.

Um, no. If Lowell was worried about “two quietish folks casting a vote” why wouldn’t he have problems with Thief and Lowell? They are both ‘quietish’ players who made a vote out of nowhere also. Lowell’s problem with them is that they voted for him. Approaching the situation from a Town perspective he should be worried about ANY players (like DP below, BTW) making votes out of the blue. A Town player might be more worried about votes that appear more wagoning but should be worried about all players with lurking profiles and unexplained vote. But Lowell is solely focused on those voting for him. A focus more on self-preservation (in discrediting the lurkers who jumped on him) than overall game impact shows a Scum perspective, IMO.

Actually, you haven't. All we know is he's apparently "Not interested in self-decence", but he can't defend himself since the only accusation you've thrown at him is that he's the "Scummiest person in the game", which has no evidence.
So, Quoi. Please give a good reason, with quote examples, why Thief is scummy.

Other than that: If we take hypocrisy and lurking as scumtells, lots of players should be lynched by now and this game would be incredibly easy to win...
I just don't have a good feeling about it right now.
However, if Quoi, Thief or SB are all town and nonetheless lurking around we maybe have just too many VIs on our side to wi this any way.

I've just read the last few pages properly and decided that nop is either

a massive douche

rather proud or scum, or both.

I'm mildly irked by Magma pushing the argument that Reck knows SD is town. I thought it was clear he was referring to theory at the time and it seems like a stretch to see it otherwise.

Why would you make a post just to say "scum is on the SD wagon", which seems to be pretty obvious considering the number of scum in this game? In the best light it is still WIFOM and I do not like how you use that single statement to further support your suspicions.

I like to narrow suspects down based on specific events/wagons/etc., when I scum-hunt. It saves my brain having to consider more variables than it needs to.

Considering what I've seen since, I'd rank them something like this:
{Magma, (Exilon, Reckoner), Lowell, mole}

I suspect that one or both of Exilon and Reckoner is scum.
