Responsible newbs should know the L-1 rule of roleclaiming (the time to roleclaim is when you're one vote away from lynch: L-1); and no, vezopiraka, I did not say "don't know if SRS" because I had neutral thoughts about FakeGod's alignment (if was because of Sherl. Hol.), you didn't have to clue me in that FakeGod is town by saying "FakeGod is town" to me.
Well, let's have our jelly jiggler at L-1 to get a roleclaim:

In addition, we need just another vote to get jelly jiggler at L-1. Me=Weird, you considered jelly jiggler as someone to vote, place your vote now. Me=Weird's jackpot can be one blue-skinned scum named JJ. Pay close attention to my questions, M=W:
Screl and JJ, a scum pair?
1)
2) My questions: Why did jelly jiggler speak of voting for screl when nobody else has talked about considering voting him--nobody else voted for screl, so what does jelly jiggler see about screl (distancing opportunity?) ? Why not anybody else, jelly jiggler?Tazaro wrote:

It always peaks my interest when someone defines their posts as producing "some" content. Not content, but "some" content.jelly jiggler, 212 wrote:I have produced some content and active lurking is a pretty unreliable scum tell.
Because with the flavor of this game it would be an easy restriction to fake and the WIFOM question is would a scum member get a post restriction or are you faking it to seem like you obviously not scum. As has been said, proof of ability does not indicate proof of alignment. I asked the questions because I wanted to see how likely it is that you are making it up, and the answer you gave is so weak. Even if the moderator did forget to put any penalty in about not following the restriction, I find it hard to believe that he would say "probably a warning." That doesn't seem right.PieMan, 219 wrote:@ xvart Y did U ask Mai Penaltie? Y wuld I maek Up a PR?Maybe if you could point me to another game or two where post restrictions have been used since I have never been in a game with one. If it is fairly typical that penalties are not included that would help your case, or even a comparison to help me out. I've looked but haven't been successful.Nevermind, just saw the link UK posted a while back and your story is more likely because it seems like SC is more has his post restrictions as an honor among men sort of deal. I'm still not sure I believe you, and I don't believe you are town, but my case holds no weight anymore.

Can we take a chill pill for a few minutes, please?Tazaro, 235 wrote:Just frustrated because the vote numbers are as far from consensus as I've ever seen, which come to think of it is stupid for me to worry about because the deadline's not imminent.
This whole gandalf thing is absurd. An FoS? Really? I think leaving a vote is fine to show the replacement that you are serious about getting some content from the slot; but, completely jumping off the scummy bandwagon and leaving a FoS is straight up suspicious. Basically you are saying that the position is suspicious, but I have seen no legitimate suspicious reasons on gandalf. Everything he has said appears to be true.PieMan, 236 wrote:I kan C Thiz, tho I think his rep N33dz 2 kno to post often so.

I just burned hard because I let my read dictate a possible scum pairing which falsely reinforced my original read. I think it's a little too early to speculate on scum pairings, especially when we have no flips to judge.Tazaro, 266 wrote:Pay close attention to my questions, M=W:

As a side note, I'm going to have a couple of doctor's appointments this week most likely in preparation for shoulder surgery, so I will posting less frequently and possibly need some V/LA sometime in the future.
I guess now that I have no vote placed I'll have to go back and read this madness again. I support the jiggler wagon, though.

@Vezo: Because I've already explained what I'm waiting for before I move on.
also, JJ, it'd be REALLY HELPFUL if you answered the question I asked earlier.
...JJ, yes, you should claim, you are at L-1 and I think I'd be comfortable voting you VERY shortly if
A) You continue to ignore my question about what you consider to be content produced by you
B) Why active lurking is an unreliable scumtell
and
C) Don't claim.
Admittedly I was hoping I could kinda take a more friendly approach to get the info I wanted from JJ from a less adversarial stance but clearly that is not working. That was mostly why I was not explicitly saying I think JJ is scummy like bananas here. Though it was probably obvious I was underwhelmed with his "discrediting the tell" on the active lurking.
FAKE EDIT: OK, he ninja'd me with the claim. Interesting he only waits for one response before going forward with it."Never have I seen anybody glorify their own lynch."

1. From my own experience it doesn't work often(or ever for me). But of course that could be because I haven't played many games.UncertainKitten wrote:@JJ: Elaborate: Why is active lurking an unreliable scumtell?
2. There are probably more active lurkers than you are aware of since you are able to block your name from appearing who is online. If I wanted to active lurk easily I could have just said I was away and it would have been really easy.
3. Example from my previous game: RBT, he active lurked while we were telling him to claim and he was making it pretty obvious that he was lurking.
4. You can avoid it pretty easily after you learn that people are aware of it.
Is this a rhetorical question because I already know what you are going to say either way. The part where I voted for xvart was a start where I actually thought about the game. Of course I probably didn't post all I wanted to say at the time but I'm not so suspicious of him anymore. But by your standards I guess I don't have any content.UncertainKitten wrote:Also, as a bonus could you link me to what you consider content produced by you?-
