Well done. Now if I live, you've posited why I should be the D2 lynch. If you're town, can you see why setting up future lynches before the flip is BAD? That doesn't just go for you by the way... all this speculation about who to lynch tomorrow just informs the NK.

Haylen has seemed scummy to me for a lot of the game, but at this point near lynch, it doesn't seem as much so, and it may have been a bias based on walls and post frequency, along with seemingly wildly shifting changes in mood (but, if she's bi-polar..can't fault for that). Regardless, if Haylen is driving content here in one form or another, I've seen how a game can quickly stagnate once that disappears.

In regards to Haylen. Yes i feel the game is stagnating to an extent where it is the same couple of people posting most frequently. I also believe that for a couple of pages, we were caught up in a debate that mostly boiled down to circular logic and even just plain bickering. Right now, I both don't find Haylen scummy, nor do I wish to lose her scumhunting/ability to question and move the game forward.

I view your scumhunting abilities as beneficial to the town in the course of this game. Also, I realise my earlier votes/reasoning may have been based primarily on your frequent walls of posts (see our previous exchange). Further game experience on this site has led me to notice this bias and the negative effect supporting or leading a lynch based on this fact primarily can have in a game.

Looking over the way D1 has gone, Haylen's circular logic has taken town off track far more than Zajnet and lurking. I said that I was leaning this way, and now it's time to make it concrete.

Sorry, but no matter what you say, people not contributing is much much worse than people who use irregular logic - mainly cause they have been told so much that they suck as town by experienced players that they respect, that they begin believing it and lowering themselves to those expectations.
I wasn't lying about my role. I was Vanilla. Jmurph's reasons for hammering are not cool, her case on Zajnet was stronger.
I wont be playing anymore games for a while, this recent trend of getting lynched day one has hit me hard. Chaio.

My appeal was upheld and I get to repeat the year except the Psychology Unit I get 92% in (Social Psychology and Individual Differences...no wonder I put a lot of faith in meta, it's basically individual differences in a mafia setting). ^_^

Don't forget that there's two scum left. For the newbie reasoning to fly, both people would have to be newbs. You (Nexus) and Kov are the only newbies left in the game. On that note, I really don't think either of you is scum. I'd bet that jmurph is scum, and possibly Flay, or maybe that last scum really is you or Kov. I really need to get around to a full reread to analyze connections. Tomorrow.

At the moment, though, I want to say that I do not find posting first to be scummy at all. In fact, in all of my previous games, the person who posted first after N1 was town.

Also, Beefster, I expected Mr. Flay as IC to die as well, which is making me suspicious of him still being alive. Besides, in your reasoning for voting Zajnet you state that you think the scum is likely to be a newb, but then vote for Zajnet, who's been around long enough to not be a newb.

Either way, I'm really not liking this quick-hate mob on Zajnet. I don't disagree that things he did on D1 were scummy, but not enough to merit immediate voting until I've had a chance to reread the thread. Besides, I'm getting a vibe from Mr. Flay that merits a closer look.

@everyone: I can definitely see scum motives behind not killing me or Flay. They're largely WIFOM (to make me and/or him look like scum), so I'd rather not get into them any deeper. There's really nothing to be gained from circular logic because there is so much uncertainty.
