I think AGar could be scum. PGO is the perfect scum claim, and some of his reasoning for his claim is rather fuzzy. Zajnet is also on my scumdar, for reasons mentioned previously.

What exactly is fuzzy about it? I thought I highlighted everything. And I agree that a policy lynch may be necessary, but take some time to look into options, so when I flip town, the rest of you aren't running around like a chicken with its head cut off.

This is a bit tougher than usual because a new player to the game has been NK'd, so we didn't really get info.

AGar I'm adamant should stay alive. If he is what he says he is, scum has to sacrifice one of their own to get rid of him, so they'll try to lynch him. Meaning we'll draw out scum by keeping him alive.

Zajnet I'm leaning scum on. However, I want to see another post or two before I decide.

Millar13 is barely saying anything. I'm wary of lurkers, although in a game like this, there could be reasons behind it (oh glorious WIFOM <_<)

My suspicions on Quadz increased after he proposed we lynch AGar. As I said, AGar's role can draw out scum trying to get him lynched.

Totallynotmafia I haven't seen enough from either. I want more from he and millar13.

You know, I thought about fake claiming. But it would've backfired in the end. Someone would've eventually strolled in and pushed lynch-all-liars once I had to admit I didn't have a power that was beneficial to the town.

This is what I found to be fuzzy. I don't feel that a player with much brain power would have called lynch-all-liars in that circumstance,

especially

if you had drawn a scum-visit. And I don't think your power would have been bad for town, necessarily. It's pretty neutral, really, and could be a huge benefit. I think that you're a good enough player to draw that scum-visit, and make PGO a benefit for town.

I'm far from ready to "lynch AGar," Mitsuru. My words were "I think AGar could be scum." I was putting the option on the table, and letting my thoughts be known; no more, no less.

Millar, your claim concerns me. I don't know how likely it is that more than one mason popped up. Also, why would you claim mason at this point anyway? Also, it is definitely possible that you are scum, despite being a mason.

Also, is it possible that you have roles which were given without their complementary role? (i.e., only one mason, or a firefighter with no arsonist?)

Depends on the role.

This makes me doubly unsure. *sigh*

I want to think that this is a fake-claim, but I don't know what it would gain. That makes me doubt my first instinct.

After thinking about it, I'm not sure if it's so much scummy as it is just dumb. Pretty much a null-tell, to me.

millar - on what basis can we believe your claim? The setup is completely random. The mod has given no indication that we could or could not have only one lone mason, but alignment can also be separated (although that would be bastard. You're a mason - but you're scum! No, you aren't a neighbor, you're a MASON!).

We've already established that claims are all but worthless. Why would you openly claim without provocation? What back-up do you have? Any? Masons usually leave breadcrumbs so a partner can back up a claim, or at least so I've seen.

I don't know why the doc should claim. Scum will kill him/her in the night and we end up without a doctor to protect us. We've mislynched twice now. Claims will only hold up the game.

Uhh guys...think about it...that would be extremely ballsy of millar to claim mason at that point if he was scum as he'd be taking a massive risk that there wasn't another mason out there. I don't particularly like millar's play (especially trying to out any doctors, that's just ridiculous), but I'm not sure the rewards would outweigh the risk of getting counterclaimed if he was scum. I guess it's possible he may be a scum mason though...but masons as a role are usually confirmed to each other so I don't know...it's hard to tell with this setup. Has anyone ever seen unconfirmed masons before or are they as a rule confirmed town?

Perhaps, but there was also nothing to gain at this point. Mayhaps if you had waited, your role/brief conversations with Erg0 might have been useful.

If the role is "mason" I believe they're usually confirmed. Unconfirmed masons are known as neighbors. But this game is all random and such and that part of the setup process is unknown. :/
