During night 2 I investigated Magna. Part of the flavor PM indicated that I was "wrong about Robocopter" which is distressing. Sorry robo! So my sanity is in question. Someone tried to kill me night 2 with a gun, but I survived because I "hid in my bulletproof closet" or something similar but for some reason that prevented my investigation from going through (perhaps I was also blocked? That doesn't make sense).

Night 3 I tried to investigate Magna again but this time I was definitely blocked because I was visited by a sexy teenage girl and apparently had a wet dream

So basically I am useless

Muffin, did the flavor text you got clearly tell you that you were wrong about Robo, or just that it was implied? It looks like Ythan was town, and now that millar is absolutely confirmed scum, I would be surprised if both Ythan and Robo were town.

Based on their interactions with millar (confirmed scum) and their play yesterday, I thought Ythan and Robo were the most likely players to be scum. We now know that Ythan was town. Robo is still undetermined, but Muffin is indicating that he may have been wrong and that Robo was town as well. If that's true, then I find it surprising that both Ythan and Robo turned out to be town given my reads on them yesterday.

Sorry, I'm not really understanding this. You knew your results were not guaranteed to be accurate before you investigated Robo, or you were told that after you investigated Robo?

Said plot device is non-existent.... i.e. it's only in the flavour. Similar to how I don't really have a closet to hide in at night, yet the flavour said I did.

OK, so, I just did iso ctrl+millar searches through Ythan and Robo to see what you're talking about.

From Robo's side, I totally see the connection. He yells at Muffin for attacking millar D1, then tries to "hint" that Kerrigan might be town without trying to lead the discussion. The only reason it's not 2SCUM4SCUM is that he probably perceived he had been confirmed (regardless of alignment).

From Ythan's side, I see the bizarre discussion with me about "two Kerrigans" and that whole utterly bizarre paradox thing. (Well, he actually manages to say "millar" almost none throughout the whole thing, so I mainly just remember it.) But I also remember you perceiving Ythan-millar connections before that. Could you show me what the hypothetically problematic Ythan-millar connections were?

The "plot device" was mentioned only as a mechanism whose lack caused my results to be inaccurate when I investigated Robo.

As I said in the original post there IS NO DEVICE. It was just flavor text, and I was attempting to paraphrase because someone (kdub?) asked if it was

implied

that I was wrong about Robo or if it was stated
