Because when you say something that I find scummy due to phrasing, but then say "NO WAIT I MEANT TO SAY IT LIKE THIS" it definitely doesn't help my view of you.

It's not me "meaning to say it" like anything else. I meant to say it the way that I did, but the meaning is the same in both cases, so I shouldn't have to watch with how I say something if it has the same meaning.

We'll see from the flip I guess. DH, can't you atleast be vague about it? I don't see how a role name would tell us anymore than your flip.

After a quick wiki readthrough, I found out that my other game's sadly mistaken about my role.

My claim is Town Neighbor. I had originally thought that soras just made up a name for masons, but this other game that I'm in came to the conclusion that neighbors just tell others that they're town, and that's their power.

I need to read into things a lot more.

EBWOP: Also, I seemed to remember that when I looked it up a few weeks ago, it said "Neighbors may give a friendly greeting to another person, saying "Hi, I'm town" as their night action, but don't know the person who they're talking to's alignment."

You would imagine my surprise when Neighbor in this case meant Mason.

Jack, as a side note, obviously when I know that I'm town, I'm not going to let myself get lynched, even if my tie vote looks scummy. What's the point in letting myself die if I know I'm innocent? I'm not one of those VIs that vote themselves and accept their lynch just because it's pretty much a given.

No harm in saying that there's more than one partner. They can choose to claim if they want to, but that would just leave scum with more of a precise PR radar. If things get hairy in this game (like, town being at a complete disadvantage), I'll out them to throw some information in the mix.
