Mini 1012: Mafia In Soraville (Game Over!)

The first day of our adventure in Soraville has come to a close. Suspicion was thrown on almost everyone in town, but, at last, the town settled on DemonHybrid. DemonHybrid fought valiantly to stop his lynch, and it appeared to be working, but eventually it became too much for him. He went so far as to actually tie the noose himself.

"Guys, it's time for me to go. I thought the deadline extension would help you guys see how wrong you were, but I guess not." DemonHybrid said sadly.

The town gathered around the pedestal in the center of the town, and watched in awe as DemonHybrid tied the noose around his own neck. Soon enough, it was all over.

The town awoke the day following DemonHybrid's death, feeling uneasy about what the future held for them. They searched for bodies, which they expected to be there, but they couldn't find a single one. Relief began to sweep over them, until they walked into the pub for their afternoon beer. Fugitive's body was laying in an awkward position on the counter, and he was holding something; a note. It contained just one line- "At the risk of sounding corny, be afraid. Be very afraid." The citizens of Soraville looked at each other in shock, now dreading the future they had been looking forward to not too long before.

has been killed. It is now Day 2. The deadline for Day 2 is August 24, at 2:30PM ET. (Yes, 2:30).

What do you guys think the chances are of all 3 neighbors being town? Between Esurio's play and just talking to him in the QT, he doesn't come off as scum at all to me. If we lynch either me/Esurio and get a town flip, then the other will probably get lynched tomorrow and its almost conceding the game if we're all town.

TL: Fugi softclaimed a PR, but I didn't think he was serious personally. It's kind of hard to pick up PR tells when all he said was Pie is scum. Stupid townies claiming PRs for no reason makes me rage so hard.

I'll reread Pie in a little while, because you/him were pretty much the only people putting a lot of heat on him.

The odds of all neighbors actually being town is *possible*. Thought this briefly for a minute yesterday and now DH's flip has brought me back to that possibility... however, if I had to pick between the two left, I'd go with oritz. And actually, I think I'll do that now.

His first paragraph in 1005 bugs me, especially with the minor AtE at the end. It's like he's trying to buddy up to esurio or something to try and convince us not to lynch him. Don't know how to explain it exactly... And the "stupid townies claiming PRs for no reason makes me rage" comment bugs me, too. If oritz flips town, though, I will definitely consider the possibility of all-town-neighbors, because esurio is not scummy in my eyes.

Again, you guys are going to tunnel us into a loss. No one has voted me for being scummy, everyone has said "well one of the two must be scum" and esurio is more town so ortiz must be scum. Try scumhunting outside of us two please.

I wanted to make a post about this possibility, but DH self-hammered before I could do it. Somebody yesterday said that all three being town would be overpowering, but that's not necessarily true; in fact, that line of thought helped lead to yesterday's mislynch. Esurio seems like he's town to me, and I've reread ortiz several times and I just don't see scum there.

Our failure to lynch Kov yesterday was a travesty. Let's fix that.
