Sebguer what do you have as far as suspicions go? You didn't place a vote and from what I can tell you don't outright have a top scumread. What do you think about 3 town neighbors?-

As I said: I'm not willing to place a vote until I re-read and take some proper notes and such. Though, considering Jack was in the other game I just replaced into, and playing the exact same style he is now- I am not so certain that he's not simply a goon this time. I was figuring no one would be crazy enough to play that way as mafia.
As to 3 town neighbors... Eh. Is there any precedent for this? Seems kind of OP, except for the fact that as we've seen, the neighbors can be pretty quick to turn on each other. Perhaps that's the entire point?
If I had a gun to my head and was told to vote- I'd probably lean to Jack now. Twomz is second on that list.-

*sigh*Unvote- I have to rethink this.
Because even with the suspicion factor, I highly doubt that there would be three town neighbors in the game. It just seems too... powerful. Why do you think all the neighbors HAVE to be town? I mean, besides the "I am town and I think esii is obvtown" thing - look at it from an outside view. Why do you think there has to be a scum neighbor? If you don't know how to lie, then how do you know when you're being lied to?

EBWOP: Glad to see we have an active player in that slot, btw.If you don't know how to lie, then how do you know when you're being lied to?

Paranoia factor easily overcomes the possible overpower. This game is a perfect example of how it could turn out in the worst possible way. We lynch 1 neighbor Day 1, the 2nd one on Day 2, and assume the 3rd has to be scum and lose on Day 3.
I don't think they have to be town, I just think they are in this situation. I've already said multiple times that if Friend is scum I think Esurio is too.-

From what I know of this mod, I highly doubt he would put a jester in the game.
Friend has done way more than me.
@TL: Why me? (granted, I didn't look at your last few post, so if you posted reasons before, just let me know what post it was.
My family is over right now, so I probably won't post again until tonight.-

TL didn't explain his vote on r2r.
Friend didn't explain his vote on HC.
Jack didn't explain his vote on esurio.
I get the feeling no one in this game wants their vote to end in a lynch, because no one has tried to persuade anyone.-

r2r: I can't tell if either of the neighbors are either both town or 1 scum 1 town or both scum. It's hard. Meanwhile with DH flipping town I'm not THAT sure on Twomz, although Pie is still a suspicion because of Fugitive dying. Seb is playing good. You're left.Show0-1 at MS.net (0-0 offsite)Town:

Jack's still the most likely scum though, in my opinion. He's active-lurking, anti-town when he does post, pushed hard for a poorly justified lynch of DH, and has now switched to Esurio without any reasoning.-

I'll wait a little bit and see if Twomz will get more support than Pie. There's no point in switching from a Pie wagon with 3 votes to Twomz with 1 vote while they're still equal scum reads.-

Pie isn't an equal read. If we approach a deadline, or we're going to be sitting on our thumbs for another 40 pages, I might join the pie-wagon. I much prefer Jack or Twomz, though.

r2r still hasn't posted any suspicions for today... just that he thinks the neighbors might be town, but we might not.
I want to hear what Jack (has he posted since mass prod???), HC, r2r have to say about who would be the better lynch, Twomz or Pie.
Twomz what do you think of Pie?
Pie what do you think of Twomz?-

@Sebguer: I thought someone might point that out when I posted it. Let me explain it further.
Scum's first instinct (assuming that there was a traitor) would be to not vote for them because they want to have the traitor on their side and not lynched (obv). After they thought about it a while though, they would either A) vote for him to appear more town or B) not vote for him and come up with a better reason to not vote.
Town's first instinct is to vote for them because "lol confirmed scum". After looking at it a little while and seeing that he is an experienced player, however, they would most likely hold off on a vote because (like I said) it's just too obvious for an experienced player to do.
I think that that post was in reply to someone else's thoughts on what scum's first instinct is in that situation
...or maybe I'm just way off here. I still think that scum are more likely to not vote than to vote, but are not more likely to not vote than town are. Does that make sense?
I'll read Twornz in ISO and see what I think about a wagon on him.-

Notes on Twornz:
Doesn't understand Jack's gambit
AtE to Pie
Wants to hammer at the end of the day (I don't like this at all. I can see scum's motivation (allows him to bus without looking suspicious, and not hammer if he flips town), but I really can't see a town motivation for doing this)
Is suspicious of Jack (this helps what he did the rest of the day make sense, but doesn't excuse it). Case is so-so.
Says he doesn't like planned lynches (I like this post)
Using what others are doing to excuse what he's doing (I don't like this)
Keeps bringing up claiming (almost as if he's daring us to ask him to claim)
Joins the DH wagon
Sees Jack in a better light because of his comment on how many pages the game is (???)
Talks about the possibility of neighbors being scum (I think I asked him this and I liked his response)
if anyone needs a post number for any of these let me know.
In the end, I think that Twornz is neutral-scummy, which is a better read than I have on anyone else, and I think a wagon on him would be good right now (at the very least, he might actually post something).
UNVOTE: if I had a vote
VOTE: Twornz-

I'm seeing a possible eursio/pie scum team... but that might just be my gut after rereading Pie.
I don't see anything definite in Pie's posting that would make me vote him though, eursio is more likely to be scum imo based on what I've said in previous posts.
No, I understood it, I just thought it was stupid and wanted him to hang for it. This isn't the first time someone's tried to 'gambit' in a game I've been in and I'd prefer to cut the behavior out of the site.ready2roll wrote:Doesn't understand Jack's gambit
I still don't get why people are saying this, I agreed with his post, so I'm AtEing/Buddying him?AtE to Pie
My motivation was to end the day, it had been dragging on long enough at that point.Wants to hammer at the end of the day (I don't like this at all. I can see scum's motivation (allows him to bus without looking suspicious, and not hammer if he flips town), but I really can't see a town motivation for doing this)
I'm less suspicious of Jack now that he's started posting more.Is suspicious of Jack (this helps what he did the rest of the day make sense, but doesn't excuse it). Case is so-so.
This is always my position, just as I am always against quicklynches, I will always warn if I'm going to hammer or planning on hammering and asking if there is any more discussion for the day.Says he doesn't like planned lynches (I like this post)
I was attempting to draw attention to Jack's active lurking at the beginning of the day by active lurking myself. The experiment failed and I won't be doing it again.Using what others are doing to excuse what he's doing (I don't like this)
I don't understand, when did I do this?Keeps bringing up claiming (almost as if he's daring us to ask him to claim)
This is a fact, not sure what to say about it.Joins the DH wagon
I'm allowed to be crazy/humorous sometimes...Sees Jack in a better light because of his comment on how many pages the game is (???)
I think one is scum. There is a chance they are all town and the mod was hoping that the WIFOM would help the scum, but I doubt it.Talks about the possibility of neighbors being scum (I think I asked him this and I liked his response)"It's not a logical inconsistency. B can't be correct because then C would be, but it doesn't go the other way - there's nothing wrong with C being correct. Aside from Twomz saying otherwise." --Mith-

AtE: it just seemed like you were trying to say that you were someone that played similar to him to please him and make him suspect you less. I could see those posts coming from town or scum though.
The day was dragging out on page 9? That's when you first brought up hammering to end the day.
I don't think Jack has posted that much more today, and if he has, it's only because he isn't on V/LA.
I know what you were trying to do with your active lurking, but it wasn't the only time you did that.
"So, I'll just wait for a bandwagon to build and then hammer to end the day. No one really seems to care that much."
Implying that because no one else is doing much, you don't need to do much either.Twomz wrote:
